Im not to sure and haven't checked up on it but the dude who directed Equilibrium did Underworld I think. That's why there might be similarities between them.
It did look awesome from the preview I saw of it before Terminator 3, infact it's really the best part I remember. Infact i don't remember there being a part 3 of Terminator...nope nothing done yet...

I think you'll find that the "shoot cricle" thing from Judge Dredd.
As a movie it had a so-so script. Sylvester Stallone was a plausible, if a little predictable Judge Dredd. But some of the supporting cast were excellent. Armand Assante made the second half of the movie.
But art direction was incredible. So plausible and detailed that it sucked you right in.
One of the best escapist science fiction films of all time, IMO. Right alongside The Fifth Element in its ability to create immersion.

yeh 5th element is one of my fav movies ever.
this also looks pretty arse kickin. blade and matrix and maybe a bit of the crow (kinda dark, gothic feel goin on?) either way it looks like it could be fun. if im looking for a really deep involving plot, i read a book, i learnt not to rely on movies to do that a while ago now. if i wanna see shit exploding and girls sexing it up then ill see a movie.

the last warewolf movie to be released in OZ was dog soldies, it wasn't releasen in Darwin though. i downloaded it and thought it was pretty good for a british flick.
underworld looks heaps better though

Dog soldiers isnt a Hollywood horror.
Its a european film.
That being said, tis a different kind of horror movie to what we are all used to. But this is a good thing.
Its got the usual, blood and gutts to extreme quantities and all.
Story line lacks a little bit, although what horror movies dont eh?
If you like your corny horror movies like i do, then dog soldiers should suit you well.
btw, i work in a video store :wink:

theres a movie out called 'ginger snaps' kinda oldish now, look in the horror section. it looks like a vamp movie, but yeah. for a B flick, it wasnt too bad.... cool photography! :)
