Sky walking is anything that is not in the context of the game. If people believe that it is wrong then usually it is.

It isn't skywalking but id say its an illegal place to be.
Although fairly easy to get to with a couple of boosts.

I remember skywalking in Dust near the CT spawn once (on lan), the above pic isn't skywalking, just typical camping.

Well guess what, admins have the final say at the time and have responsiblity.
So for me, yes, i would class that as a type of skywalking and I would kick u. If u did it again, i would ban u. If you complained, i will ban your friends and family as well (hehe joking).
Other admins may think differently, thats fine.

but nah seriously, boosting up there is the same as boosting on a box. they do it in CPL and its aloud in all big tournaments.

Skywalking is only classed if you acutally boost through a texture, and walk around actually on top of the map...not in it.

to get up there you dont need to texture boost. like harb said, its part of the map. skywalking and texture boosting (like in Oilrig) is bandable coz it exploits glitches in the game.

if someone is constantly doing it and being a fag about it...then yeah, but no admin should ban someone for being on a ledge that could be the same as a high box.

Im just wondering... Skywalkers get banned because its wrong... What about the people who help skywalkers get 'up there' they should know they're helping someone do something bannable, if they get caught they should be banned too? maybe just a thought.

I only know the place at CT Spawn on Dust were you can skywalk and you need two people to do that thats why I am saying this... just a thought?

Skywalking is where you get boosted through the sky polygon and walk on top of it. That pic is clearly fully legal.

I recently banned 2 people for skywalking on dust2. AND... i banned the 2 people who helped them. If your involved, you pay... and i know lataf and crazyc feel the same way :twisted:

boosting up to that height is legal if he went any higher then maybe its skywalking i mean i do it all the time in tfc with the shock grens fly up high and hide in corners of the map :roll:

if you can do it in the game its legal simple if they didnt want you to do it they wouldnt let you do it.

Although in real life there is no way a person could keep balance and not fall off a wall like that unless he had spike shoes or something even then he couldnt shoot anyone without loosing balance

u need a ladder of 4 teammates to get there, and once there, u can only die from another person going there.

so wot do admins think of that spot?

It's still part of the map since they didn't get disqualified for going there during some semi-finals or something in CPL.

Oh and does losing a round due to time give your team more money than losing due to deaths??

Skywalking involves boost THROUGH polygons. i saw that demo and that spot is so 1337 :D. you cant be banned for boosting onto things....and it did work very well, and they got to the grand final when they did that....so if CPL allow it then i think it should be ok for public gaming. but as if anyone will ever get up there anyway.:)

i was banned bcoz i got stuck in air with 3 or 2 other ppl on dust 2 near the ct spawn and ppl say thats not sky walking i think it as "GETTING STUCK" :cry:

Hi all yes id have too agree with this post that its not a skywalk just another camper. Its easy in aztec to be boosted up there then uou can actually run aroung the top of the map he is not using the glitch as in de_dust.

Admins Just slap him down end of problem
