BUT
i lost my maths assingment to an evil disk... i got no back up or anything (i know, stupid...) but is there anyway i can retrive it from my computer at all...

I just use a CDRW. Unfortunately don't have one in my new comp(had to give it back to Dad) so I'm stuck with sneaker-net floppies till im not so poor, but try a scandisk, also try lifting the disk a bit with your finger while it's inside the drive reading. Sound's dodgey, but it's saved me many times, GL neway :?

it's only wicked when you're d/loading at 1 megabyte a second, 5 o'clock on a friday afternoon when all the teachers have gone home and you're using your Japanese Assistant teachers laptop...

I agree with knight i don't find a problem with LATIS, i do have a problem with almost all skools IT teachers and the computers expecially the ones at CSC still using windows 95
With out LATIS you wouldn't be able to access ur work from maths block to the english block, and as u guys were syaing "don't use floppy disks" You get your own e-mail account that will not attract any spam. And i think the ppl at CSM r nice ppl :D
You see if Timmy would have at least save his work to the skool and plus to floppy he would of still had a back up... (cept for when ppl decide to blow up the servers at skools :P)

Its not them, its the Government being stingy little arseholes and not allowing for a realistic budget.
You try making a Million Dollar Aircraft from Mechano. (yeh i know, thats a bit exaggerated).
But yeh....dotn blame the IT guys.....they are doing the best they can, with the funding and tech that they ahve been handed.
