Invincible Iron Man

Is this an alternate-reality/origin Iron Man or something? Wasn't Tony Stark supposed to be mostly paralysed without the suit? He was walking around without it a whole lot in that clip. Looks very nice though, I'll definitely have to pick this up some time.
