As for me I prefer sweet pair of my Logitech MX510 with padsurfers and Icemat Black 2nd Edition... Kick any ass solution =) Steelpads are very good too... Especially the new "fUnk killer" -- Steelpad S&S (I saw one near my friend's rig).

I'm using an Icemat Black 2nd Edition for about a half year and I'm fully satisfed with this surface. Large size, good sliding, stilish look and feel... Great thing!
