...the device apparently does have a higher res screen on-board, a front-facing camera, a higher resolution camera with flash, and takes MicroSIM cards (that's the little "button" around the side you see in the Twitpic which is floating around the internet). what? gizmodo paid money for a device from someone who had no legal right to sell it. they paid an amount of money that classes it as a felony, not a misdemeanour. they did this so they could disassemble the device and post a 'scoop'. of COURSE they should face legal repercussions for this.

So you're telling me that someone who buys a phone off a guy, who found it on a floor of a nightclub deserves to have his door kicked in, his house searched while he isn't present and all his shit he needs to make a living taken away? That sounds like a good system to you?

PS. I'm not denying he did the wrong thing. I'm saying this is over the top. ...and HE didn't even buy it. The company he works for did. Which makes it worse in a way, but still not reason to act so strongly.
