It has been rumored that Mass Effect 2 might make its way to the PlayStation 3. Despite BioWare's previous denial, they've let the cat out of the bag at Germany's GamesCom with the announcement that Mass Effect 2 will see a PlayStation 3 release in January of 2011.

The Playstation Network has followed hot on the heels of the Xbox 360, with DICE announcing the availability of the demo for download. While I'm sure most of the readers here would rather play a BC2 demo on the PC, and indeed the final game on the PC, this news does signal something for us to get excited about.....
