We've all seen the specs and read about the features, but already there's some Next Generation Portable footage that's going to get you really excited. And that's seeing Uncharted demonstrated on the device, with glorious visuals and a bunch of new and interesting ways to interact with the game - such as using its touch screen, and back-facing touch pads....

The PSP2 is real, and now it's official. At a Tokyo event today the new handheld, with the apparent power of a PlayStation 3, was revealed. Code-named the NGP, or Next Generation Portable, it boasts a higher resolution screen, dual-analogue sticks, as well as front and back facing cameras. But that's just the tip of the iceberg, with the event delivering pictures, tech-specs and a heap of new information for you to salivate over......

That sinking feeling you're experiencing is the hopes and dreams of every PlayStation 3 owner being devoured by Marky Mark. Not that I really have anything against good ol' Mark Whalberg, but I do have a problem with him playing Nathan Drake in the forthcoming Uncharted movie. Nathan Drake, voiced by Nolan North, practically is Uncharted, so it breaks my heart to know that a personality so far from his has been chosen for the part....
