Well this is where we need nominations and votes for captains for each state.
Way to do this will be to post here, Your state and your choice for your captain .. I will leave this up till the end of the month, then it will be locked and I will get the captains from that.
so for example
Unseen - NT Captain choice Coco
But like I would vote for him .. :p Anyways yeah nominate away people.
I'm from NSW. I'd still like to know when you are thinking of running this here little tourney, seeing that if I won't be around then I won't put myself up for it....
Edit: Oh if your wondering why I say Coco. Well being in SB, in which he is the leader (although he may not be in all cases where Unseen may take over if coco isnt there, etc) but anyway...
Coco always calm and determined. He the kind of person who wont stress over much and plays very (usually) relaxed. Being the leader of SB he knows how to use tactics, always plans ahead and trys to work out the opposition before hand. I suppose you could say he was born a captain, and the best part is he hold a clan together well and always make the players feel good about their game and how they play, etc.
TopGun, u be WA captain, ur the most senir of us and u aint half bad at CS. + i hate to organise shiet. times could be aproblem for me though. ive got my last week of school this week. the about 3 weeks of exams. then rock-it. then leavers. then about 2 weeks back at the computer again. then 3 weeks in tassie (and the falls festival:D). then back at computer again. then BDO in another 3 weeks time. so if the entire comp could be done around my schedual id be grateful :P
Unseen, you never responded in the other thread...
will it be run where the player plays for the state where they were born? the state where they are living? or the state of their permanent residence (like people away at Uni *looks at Jay*)?

I hope where your currently located, Personally id love to play for the NT, but I wasn't born here not to mention wasn't born in Australia to begin with so heh would be nice :D
Quote from Enigma: how many is it on each team ? Dude no offence intended but: 1. Go back to school and learn some reading and searching skills. Theres a post with all the info in just under this thread. 2. Any competition team being played around CS is always a 5 person team with usually 1 or 2 reserves. So in total a 6-7 player team.

So is this just a voting section??? oh and btw its Apophis  i dont know who to vote for, just cant think of anyone who fits all the qualities i feel are required for the position. Not saying that i do myself as i probably dont :?
(This may not be the right time to ask, but i usually like to know before things get too busy and too far along for things to be added/changed/thought about)
What happens if a team is short of players?
ie, ACT doesn't look to have a lot atm nor does NSW or Qld.
NSW team (or team wannabes), check out http://www.gamers-underground.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=151480#151480 and stop spamming this thread with wether you want to play or not. This thread is just to vote for captains.
ruin, Adelaide is a huge place for gamers. Nemesis-World, part of these forums plays Counter-Strike, and lives in Adelaide. He only has 28k, but he's hella leet anyhow!
Omg! How dumb do you people need to be?!? You can't just "ADOPT" people from another state... what's the point in that?!? Then darwiners could be competing against each other. I can imagine, if this had been going on for years and years and years, that eventually people would start wanting to 'adopt' other people - but that's how sport got so screwy!
L|aMa - take your idea to the governments of each state... get them to form one uber leet state, all so there can be enough for our State-wide CS comp :)
Well unseen, i reckon NSW should get the title without even having to play, seeing as how we really are the only state that's showing much in the way of enthusiasm....
Um... I think you's are missing the point of it. Interstate competition. You can't just put a few people from a different state in there. Honestly, I sure as hell wouldn't wanna compete for the ACT against NSW. They need to go find players. CS is a very popular game, cos there's over 30, 000 servers and it's the number 1 multiplayer game. Trust me - there's gamers around. If they suck, you need to teach them.
We can't have people playing for DIFFERENT states - it's not right
QLD should have the numbers. Just get a few nK guys to post here once Exo :P
As for the NT team i'd be happy to organise it although i don't consider myself one of the top5 in the NT, Ill be no 7 and just sit behind Unseen screaming at him. I'll start a new post for the NT team.
i can easily get a team for QLD if they don't have to post here, or if they do i know at least 2 ppl.
i could probably convince reefer to install cs again if any of u's remember him and Impreza aka 5.72 aka what ever other names he went under lol.. their both from rA when it was around
o yeah, if this is pure GU, WA dont have a team at the moment. before we only had 3 definates (me, enigma and topgun) but now only 2 with topguns finger. and 2 people im waiting from replies from. so i think you can count us out for the moment. pity the GU servers aint up, cause there were people that played on there but wernt on the forums that were from WA :(
Unseen, can we please have a summary of what's going on so far? ie, who's got captains, who's looking like they will be in, who are the captains, what's the next step from here.
Ok people, we need a captain for ACT and for SA and for TAS!
Even if you don't know about the teams yet, please someone from each state put yourselves forward for the position, so we can move on to the recruitment and team selection stage.
