I only just got over FFX and Australia hasn't got FFXI yet, and already FFXII is getting released :shock:
Before it seemed like AGES wait between the final fantasy games, but since FF10 theres been another one coming out like every 10 months :?
Maybe it was always like that though, hehe I cant remember
Of course this is only released in Japan, should take them a good 6-12 months to translate it :roll:

Got 4-9 on PSX (Emulating on PC since I currently don't have a PSX) 1-6 are ports off Nintendo NES and SNES. 7 and 8 are good, 9 is crap (Lucky I got it 2nd hand!) 6 is OK.
8 looks excelent being emulated in 32bit colour. PC version I heard had crappy detail.

disagree there.... I think 9 was better than 8. The only thing that 8 had that was good was the card game... ff9 was a decent comeback to the mp system but shitty card game and all the characters look like kids...

so yeah, I'm all for more FF games- just make sure they get here quicker :P

FF8 was AWESOME, possibly my favourite game of all time.
Didn't like 7 or the ones before that, possibly because 8 was my first ff8, and the lesser graphics of the other game put me off.
haven't bothered getting into any of the other ones, too time consuming.
Vagrant Story / Chrono Trigger for the win.
FFX was awesome.
FF8 was good, moreso because of the triggers than anything.
FF7 was a fun adventure.
FF6 f'ing rocks my socks.
X-2 is awesome. Btw it's "10-2" not twelve (to my knowledge anyways). It's pretty damn good, I played it for a few hours at a friend's place in the States.
It is 10-2. I didn't like it that much... X was better.
I'm a big fan of 8's! Once I worked out how to play properly :) I've only played 7 and 8 and they're both REALLY good. Takes DAYS to finish them (playing straight)... I don't care for anyone to come say "LOLOL! I BEAT THE GAME IN 10 HOUR ROFL". Eat me... it occupies me for days.
from memory, ff8 took like....75 hours or so. now THAT'S a game
Playing Dark Chronicle (PS2 RPG) atm. 67% through and it's been 131 hours... And I haven't done all the little mini quests etc.
Now THAT'S a game ;)
Yeah Cow, I think the max it took me was 100 hours (that's with everyone at lvl 100 though). Heck, I wasn't even off the first CD at 30 hours. Never really finished FF7. I remember the first time I played it... I had no idea wtf was happening... I didn't understand the concept of turn-based.
FF7 was time based, a little different then turned :)

It's called Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, comes out next year. Saw the trailer at E3 and it bloody ROCKED!!! The coolest digital animation I have ever seen in my life. It's set 2 years after the events of Final Fantasy VII. I think it's going to be 50 mins long and will be released as a VMD on the new PSP and also on DVD.
