Quote from Jay: Getting there :P Money is so short at uni. I think that buying this game will save money cause you will play it insted of going out. As you saw paladin's home setup he plays on the couch while watching telly. When he is tired he lays down and sleeps for a few hours the springs back up to play again :P
Quote from Knight Of Nih: Its a nice game to play. I enjoy playing it with people i know personally rather then strangers, but hey thats just me. It works on dialup just fine.
So go out buy a copy of NWN Gold ($70) and get envolved.
Ok... Will check out EB on Saturday :)
*Still playing Diablo II... Started a new Hardcore last night and am level 17 Paladin now.... :( Curse you flaming skeletons
Monkey, Diablo II sucks. Oh, and don't expect to reach level 17 overnight in NWN's Nordock module. Try around two weeks, minimum. ;)
Heritic, no one can give you a CD key, because then they can't play.
As for buying it... if you're buy NWN you SHOULD get the gold pack (nwn + first expansion) and SHOULD get the second expansion. The second expansion is always sold out, as far as I'm aware, EB have one copy left, harvey norman have one copy left, and kmart have one copy left.
Someone explain to me the etiquette of Roleplaying in the NWN universe...? For instance, if I first joined I wouldn't know wtf to do, I'd probably start teaming up with whoever.... this seems to be bad... :|
Only if you're teaming up with and are of good nature, would it be bad.
If you need to ask questions, ask, just prefix your messages with "ooc" or "((".
You generally start adventuring in the town sewers, it's a gathering place for young characters, so it's not hard to find people to start partying with.
You'll never get the opportunity to screw up role play and party with a Drow as a young character, as their starting point is deep inside the underdark.
The second expantion is like $50 not i have to start saving for that. Gold is cool but iv only played for about 2 hours i havent played since monday because my bro stole it and wont stop playing GRRRR!

Bah minor details my friend...... :P[/quote:842830d00b] You all get the drift anyhoo...Fun was had by all. I am a good looter too but 20+ rats and beetles are too much for this little Half-Elf. Bastages in the sewers keep smashing me up....Stupid rat whiskers only worth 10gp :( Should be 20 :)
Sorc, with 2 levels of Paladin is very nice. Charisma bonuses can do all sorts of good things and you also become fearless and have slight healing powers. It is also my most favourite character to roleplay in 3rd ed.
I understand levels and all that, but what is with this seasons in relation to characters? Is it what they call it in the NWN campaign or for epic character levels?
Ting Galen - 6th lev Fighter, 1st lev Wizard, 5th lev Arcane Archer, dark skinned elf with red hair :)
A confused Dark Elf who gave up her her title as ruler of a great Drow House to venture into the overworld.
Arakeena Galen - 1st levl Mage, Dark skinned elf
An evil bitch who wants nothing but to see Tings head on a silver platter presented back to her dark Goddess, then she can rule the House
Gragor Amuu - 8th Lev Half Orc Babarian, dark skinned bald Half Orc
Born and bred for his immense strength constitution and relatively high Intelligence, Gragor serves as Tings bodygaurd and loves a good feast round a fire
Playing on NWN Internode Server 1 most nights cept when real life drags me away
For interests sake, while everyone else is at it...
Celerity Syn, a loyal Champion of Torm and Master of the Kukri. Another of the lost and found children of Syn. She has seen twenty-one seasons pass her in the world of Nordock.
