an interesting set of polls that Gamespy have going. a few i think are crap (AS FUCKING IF HALO IS BETTER THAN GOLDENEYE 64!!!) but its still good too see people with brains on the goodies :)
Doom all the way. The only other games i would have real trouble voting against, is Starcraft and Diablo II, but alas only one is here :( everything else is playing second fiddle :P

Goldeneye 64 is/was THE best fps for a console. No other FPS on console came close (Well....perfect dark was pretty cool too). Man, i remember having 4-way Goldeneye Deathmatches for 8 hours straight.

Actually, i will go as far as saying after LoZOoT, its in the top 5 games i have ever played. Halo? Pfft, Halo can talk to the fucking hand. That games got NOTHING in comparison.
hell yeah!!!! we used to play 4 player at that.. we to play it with sensor mines we used to be that good that if you died you would be f**ked you would spawn then DIE!!! some times lasting 2 sec before you die
goldeneye wooooohooo go da bunker!!! it was the longest level to get past cause all i like to do is go around and shoot eveyone... who knew they JUST KEEP COMING!!! :P
hated that level. and matt they were called proximity mines :) they were good fun. and the best part of that game was there was no way to be gay or lame....simply perfect ;)...
And Goldeneye has lifelong value to it. For it's time, Goldeneye was awesome! Halo's multiplayer sucks (im not going into Xbox Live - regardless, the levels suck). Maybe in comparison today, Halo is good. But, Goldeneye was a definite starting point and will always be better than that Xbox crap you noobs play today.
Therefore Half Life vs Zelda.... oOoOoOoOoO that's a hard pick....
Doom vs Super Mario Bros... i'd have to say the little italian plumbers for the sheer fact that i spent many more hours playing that than i did on Doom.
Goldeneye would have to be one of the best games ever. I remember the hype when it came up, Hey i'd go out and buy a N64 just so i could play multi Bond with my mates :)
hell yes. twas awesome fun for the fact that you could sit right next to all your mates and you wouldnt have to worry who had the better computer/net connection :)
diablo 2 beat starcraft because a diablo 2 site made a voting bot that voted about 10000 times for it, if it werent for that starcraft would have won (no shit look it up).
