question: is there a price for 1 day or do we gota pay $20 even if we're only staying 1?
Post 28 Posted by Korny 2004-04-25 02:19:28 UTC
Yeh count me in. Free BBQ like freedom lan ? mmmm free beer what a lan :)
Post 29 Posted by Unseen 2004-04-25 02:23:53 UTC
It isnt a free BBQ. Its a provided BBQ, you pay for what you eat :)

One day registration is "5 otherwise stay for two and pay only $20.
But show up without a registration then it is $25 for one or two days.
Does that answer your question HeX?
Post 31 Posted by w00p 2004-04-25 03:16:27 UTC
For anyone using mozilla or something alike, you might want to use internet explorer. It looks a bit something like this otherwise.....
Web people might want to try and make it more compatable for other web browsers.

Post 38 Posted by Eater_Of_Souls 2004-04-27 00:04:07 UTC
Brownie - can you PM me with a price for 6 kg steaks (reasonable stuff) and 8 kg of sausages.
Korny - No it wont be free, but it will be as cheap as i can make it
Hex - your sig is disturbing
Jeet - no worries, anything to stop my hands smelling like onion is good for me
Raker - heheheheh good work
Post 39 Posted by El Presidente 2004-04-27 06:41:22 UTC
RakeR - don't stress, it's an easy problem to have with the widening gap b/w IE and more standards-oriented browsers. The ULC webpage turns out to look like arse in IE, apparently something to do with the way it renders the float: CSS directive. Bah.
Post 40 Posted by RakeR 2004-04-29 01:02:33 UTC
Quick inquiry,
is anyone experiencing any registration difficulties?
If so please PM.
Thanks
Post 41 Posted by Korny 2004-04-29 15:07:14 UTC
ahhh what no free Beer  hehehhe.. Ohwell no such thinig as a free meal :D
Post 42 Posted by w00p 2004-04-29 15:36:05 UTC
Hey raker,
I notice you put in a very handy copy tab for us to confirm our e-mail addresses. It's very convenient. But doesn't that go against the fact of confirming our e-mail? I would suggest not having it there. I originally thought that you enter in a e-mail address twice to make sure the first time was correct. So giving us the option to copy the e-mail address for a confirmination is kinda pointless.
Not trying to be rude, just giving you feedback ;)

I dont rember it asking me for a password so i didnt enter one when i went to unregister it worked fine but im wondering why the Enter Password box is there?
Post 44 Posted by w00p 2004-04-29 16:04:12 UTC
Wouldn't it just be easier to have the e-mail address. It saves people from remembering passwords and probably saves you guys time of resetting pw. E-mail accounts are just as good seens you have to log in and access the mail link to succesfuly unregister.
And ahh i would look into the unregistering thing very QUICK SMART. I wont mention why but i am sure you will figuer it out sooner or later.
Great work guys :P
Post 45 Posted by RakeR 2004-04-30 00:06:01 UTC
The rego page has been a test ground for some coding that im doing.
Im sorry if it is the way it is.
As you are aware the Darwingamers.org is under construction as so the rego page is too.
The copy button was just a gimmick that I tried out.
The password was an edition to allow immediate deletion instead of having to wait for a email about wanting to unregister.
The password is random and sent in the first email to confirm the registration.
Please give us a heads up on what you meant about fixing the unregistering thing QUICK SMART! Is there something that we should know about.
Please advise
Post 46 Posted by BrAiN DaNcE 2004-04-30 03:13:50 UTC
I just tried to register my friend, using my email account.
No mail came thru, can you not register two people on the same email address or something?
His username is Sway, and consider him confirmed :P

Post 50 Posted by Korny 2004-04-30 13:52:37 UTC

Post 51 Posted by BrAiN DaNcE 2004-04-30 14:27:33 UTC
