what he said.... why pay for something when you dont have to? hodoo gurus fit into this category.

Post 11

In what way?

Post 12

Mindel Beach just out side the casino area, take along esky and chair, and drink the night away. I would be doing this if i wasn't working.

I would be expecting too much soundwise from the Hoodoo gurus, and Spiderbait I have seen about 6 times live. Save the money and go to the beach, and have more fun.

Post 13

nah, i'm gonna go to this one. 3vil is bullshitting, ticket's are $37.50. I'm gonna definitely do the beach thing for JBT, that'd be awesome. Real chilled out sounds to a Mindil sunset, fuckin oath :)

Post 14

Where is Mindil beach?

Post 15

near the casino ;)

Post 16

...Which?!

...Which?!

Ummmmmmmm... As far as I know we only have one Casino. The MGM, between Cullen bay and the Mindil Markets opposite the golf course in the city.

Anyway, its 4 in the morning, Ive had to retype quite a few of the words in this post and the concert was excellent, well I was a bit late and missed most of the Alice Springs band, but the rest was great.

Post 18

Yeh it was sick...the Alice Springs band was fucking awesome!! I didn't get to stay for all of Hoodoo's, but they were great and Spiderbait really psyched up the crowd.

Post 19

What genre of music where they?

Post 20

Opera.

Post 21

i would have said more classical than opera.

Post 22

The Alice band were kinda Heavy / Hard, i dunno like Incubus cross with tame Nine Inch Nails. Were they called "Dark Tide" or something>?

Post 23

Ohh incubus with NiN?! That sounds good !
