All the best to you examinees ... I feel for youse ....

I am studying for some more CISCO ones ... and they are a bitch .... they are on line ones and they are adaptive ... so if you get a few wrong on a certain topic guess what ? .... the bl**dy thing gives you more on the same topic !!!!

Plus its scored out of a 1000 with a minimum of 300 - so if you get them all wrong ( about 60 to 70 questions ) you still get 300 !! - pass marks have been raised and are now around 850 .... weirdest scoring system ever invented ... no marks assigned to questions so you dont know which ones to focus on .... its timed so you get 90 minutes usually ( depending on exam ) and they have these crappy router/switch simulators in them ... bahhh whinge whinge ...

But the best part is you pay "95 for the priviledge of trying to defeat this cockamainy system !!! - no refund for failure or a second chance ....

One guy at work has failed his CCNA 3 times now - $685 down the tube and nothing to show for it ....

/end CISCO exam whinge

OH YES!

that exam..asian studies...dominated..

i took a risk and only studied one subject, globalisation, from all aspects. and lucky enough the question was in the exam, wrote the best essay i've ever done, felt confident i've done well.

guess we'll find out later or not aye?

holiday time :)

Post 11

Did you take my advice, cow?

(and exams. are. over.... no more administrative law for me!)

Post 12

which advice pres?

Post 13

To memorise a few useful, but essentially meaningless phrases, eg:

"Manic imperatives of global capital"
"Post-modern, post-industrial society"
"Globalisation as a quest for modern profits and historic evils"

Post 14

ah yeh i remember....now

the question asked was ... "globalisation is only half of the story, understanding contemporary asian societies is in the way these individuals and nations react to it"

my main argument was education and understanding through a nations choice of insulating itself, reasons why blah blah, didn't get to crack open my anti-america statements

Post 15

But you well might have, what with Americans so fondly pledging allegiance to the flag at their schools.

Post 16

America's bitch is following? Seen the news? Your mate Johnny in his new education reform is making all Australian schools erect a flagpole with the Australian flag.

oh, say can you see...
