lol that so reminds me of an episode of 'the broken' where this guy shows you how to protect your data by burning a laptop at 3000 degrees celsius by packing it with thermite :P

The dumbest things I've made are a chlorine bomb that left a nice crater, and en explosive using diesel and sodium nitrate. Virtually vaporized a burnt out car shell.

Dumbest thing I've ever done was make a sparkler bomb, and threw in three soda bulbs (All sqeezed into a little glass jar), then to top it off we sqeezed the jar into a ceramic pipe.
Lit the bugger, it looked like a thruster or some kind, burning some bright 2-3m flame straight up, and then 1 soda bulb went off, another went off... And then the thrid goes off and blows the pipe.
We broke 2 windows, and had chucks of the pipe fly a foot over our heads and a metre from us...
