that's why i love canberra, no HSC
Yeah we got our biggies coming up here too. We don't do HSC style stuff but, only one big standard state-wide exam. All the rest is done internally by the school.
I recommend cold pizza and caffiene as essential to HSC success...
NTCE sucks balls, im hating it so much right now. Australian History IS final due monday, Modern History IS draft due yesterday...bah
Weeeeeeeee! Just finished QCS!
Just remember guys its not the end of the world if you dont do great.
If you plan to goto Uni etc you can always do bridging courses to make up and you will be having so much fun at Uni you won't feel strange for repeating a subject or two.
Also remember in 5 years when you enter the workplace, if your not a doctor or lawyer, your HSC score doesnt mean a damn thing. Noone will EVER ask you about it.
Try hard, do your best but dont **** yourself up over it. Its only a small part of your life compared to the 50 years ahead of you. :)

Are you on drugs?
Nothing fun about uni. Give me year 12 again anyday.
Umm ive done Uni man, best time of my life.
Less contact hours that school, don't have to goto lectures or tuts.
1st year is a complete recap of Year 12 subjects...and I did Comp Sci.
Lived on campus and had a party 4 nites a week.
It was excellent..have you finished Uni Mungus? Or is this your first year?
Hint bud - Goto all the functions and pissups, be friendly with the engineers, they have the most pissups, 35 contact hours a week requires it.
Live on campus if you can, we used to have a ball.
If you stay at home all day and got uni, go home and browse forums...no your probably not going to have much fun. :)
Yes I miss school
All us mates there in the one spot every day
Now it happens bout 6 times a year.
I did all easy classes in yr12
I’m glad though I passed it (TER 45.5) I know many many people are back this year though re doing what they did last year.
But don’t waste your time dude, head down and push yourself through these last few months.
Other wise you will be back there repeating it over again. And more then likely in the same position 12 months form now.
HSC = Biggest waste of time/money.
NTCE = Waste of time.
Either way
Best of luck guys :)

I'm almost exactly half-way through my batchelor of IT (3 year course). Most of the units are quite interesting, however its some of the lecturers and the general CDU system that ticks me off. Particularly THIS semester, when I've been ****ed over fairly thourougly by CDU, and by one lecturer in particular. Not going to go into details.
You're probably right about uni life being fun, however I don't live on campus, and the rest of my time (ie - whenever I'm not at uni) is wholly absorbed by work.
Urgh anyway don't want to tip the brag bucket, but be glad you guys aren't going through Engineering.
^ but I am.
:(
Have to disagree Coco, I go to most of the functions that are organised and while it's pretty fun overall... the reality is that you should probably be doing more work so that you can actually pass.
To make matters worse...I'm only in 1st year and I only have 24 contact hours. Not looking forward to 2nd year.
Wow sorry you guys are having a dull, time.
I had a blast, perhaps living on campus helped that quite a bit with 200 other young people. I certainly got laid enough :)
