Flashing sign gets army rebuke By Max Blenkin November 2, 2004
AN army chopper crew has been stood down after a crewman issued a very public invitation for women to "show us your tits" at the recent Indy 300 car race on the Gold Coast.
Unfortunately for the crew of Iroquois helicopter No 295, an onlooker in a high-rise flat snapped a photo of the sign displayed by a crewman as the chopper flew along the beachfront on October 23.
The image ended up on the website of the Professional Pilots Rumour Network.
haha saw it on the news. what a classic. poor army boys, be hereos but will get in trouble. but i suppose if your the pilot of an army helicopter, would you care?? I think not.!!
The Indy organisers pay these chicks up to a grand each day to do this, all strippers, all preorganised. they reckon is like Schoolies week for adults :)
Hell funny...they wont lose their jobs or get demotions...they'll get a slap and told not to do it again...nothing permanent, so I'd say it would have been worth it.
This may be a bit of a late reply but I was the one who took the photos which the army got a hold of, and that was on the news, below is a full sequence that I took. Found this topic on google. I took the photo and put it in the funny section of a car site, a week later I saw it on a news update?!?
