wth? clawhammers have 1mb of level 2 cache, and i wasn't even aware that socket 939 clawhammers existed. so uh, thats weird

The 939 clawhammers are different from the 754 clawhammers Pala.

Yeah, I only realised venice cores were out around 3 months ago...cause about then I bought a winchester core cause it had not long come out.

man I don't understand how you can make the mix up from the newest range of cores to the oldest type of cores... Like a Newcastle or Winchester I can understand but a Clawhammer???

But Wrathlon has the idea. See it's hard to really tell. I made sure with the supplier at the time I ordered it that it will be a Venice core. They even advertised the fact that all shipped 3500+ will be in the new Venice core.
But.. of course, out of all the cpus sold how many specifically want a Venice core, hell most people don't even know that the same CPU can have different cores. So my guessing is the supplier just wanted to get rid of their old stock and unf**kingfortunately I ended up with the wrong one. Sucks..
Well something like that..
Also, it's more like..
Shop > wholesaler > distributer (they give me wrong cpu) > manufacturer

make sure on your cpu it states in your part number AA4BP at the end if so It is a venice
