"Today, after sitting on the bill for nearly a month and constant political pressure, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Assembly Bill 1179, the bill that would prohibit the sale and rentals of violent video games to minors. Again, the Entertainment Software Ratings Board and the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) are challenging the bill. According the the VSDA, the bill is faulty in that a game is decided whether or not it is 'violent' by juries, and different juries could have different opinions on what is defined as 'violent'."
From a man that built his career on acting (I use the term loosely) in violent movies.
ahh but lots of US parents are religious and righteous, they're contributing to get this bill passed.
so kids will ask their friends parents to buy it for them :p
and chad one does not have to 'go out of their way' to obtain cracked/pirated games. It's easier and far cheaper than walking down to the shop to purchase it.
A boat load of crap? More like an ocean liner don't you think?
but no seriously...the kids.video games.violence thing will end soon enough. its like rock and roll in the 60's...everyone thought the world would end because everyone was high and listened to freaky arse music. and its only another american law...not like anyone will follow it or anything.
