How do the prices work??? Are they in per 50?
So for 250 would be:
250 / 50 = 5 sets
$28per set x 5 = "40

Charge him $5 to pick it up yourself :p

Post 5

When will the order be placed?

When will they be ready to pick up?

When do you want payment?

Post 6

The order has been placed for 24 spindles of DVD's.

They will be ready to pick up in less than 10 working days

I placed the order yesterday, so it takes 2 days to clear, then the freight company has to ship it up where which normally takes 5 working days.

As for payment, some people have paid me, some havn't. no one will get goods before they collect them, if you want to DD money into my bank account to definetely save a spot, you can contact me on msn

Post 15

I will now have bucket loads more for sale, except they will be Laser.

I will find an exact product code for them but they look like they are:

8x Laser DVD-R Printable.

Hopefully i can provide a picture soon. Same pricing applies for these types. Does anyone have any reviews on these types of discs?

Post 16

just a suggestion cause i've used lots Ritek G05 before.

If you have a liteon, benq, lq, sony or nec burner, you could run disc quality test on DVD+-R/RW/DL using a software called nero cdspeed.

I have ritek G04/G05 that have gone south and it's not just a few discs. All the old discs that I have tested have gone south. Of course I can't test every single disc but at least it gives me an idea on its longevity. I have tested discs without any scratches at all and the test returned poor results. some of my old discs without any scratches can't be read at all now. I always use "verify" when I burn a DVD and I always read the contents of the DVD back into my HDD just to be extra sure.

I have been using Taiyo-Yuden brand since.

if you want more info on the disc quality test, have a read at cdfreaks.com.

Post 17

Thank you very much for this post Jarthel, i heard the G04's weren't that crash hot but the G05 were quite good and people were raving about them (Aswell as Taiyo-Yuden) ..

Right now i can get Lasers aswell and i will see if I can get Taiyo. Thank you very much for your input

Not personally no, but from various clients at work the general response is not too bad. A few people have said they have a few bad discs here and there.. As for what they look like.. just a normal DVD with a full white printable top.

Post 19

laser is shite. white label/shintaro work well.

Post 20

yeah i like shintaro have purchased heaps with no problem - they may not be as cheap as all the others but hey.
not to keen on laser myself...

What sorta prices would we be looking at for these??

Post 22

I had a quick look... and they are exceptionally high... looking at approx $60... if you want me to source them i can try... but yeah.. seems a bit of money

Post 23

Shintaro look at approx $45 ish.. i will also look into these further

Post 24

Brownie, how about bulk orders of + discs? Prefer them over the - discs.

Post 25

if the numbers are up.. ill order them...

Post 26

I always use Verbatim or TDK, never had a problem.

If you can get those brands Brownie, I will be most interested.

I'll do Shintaro -R's at $40 per spindle (50) if you homies pay cash.

White printable 8x media.

TDK +/- R, about $40 per spindle, plus freight.

Freight depends on what else I am having shipped up at the time.

For instance next week I'm having quite a few cases and heatsinks coming up via road, so that would be a good time to keep costs down. Other weeks stuff comes up via air, so costs go up hugely with a spindle of cd's chucked in...

Post 29

i can do shintaro at $40 if you buy 4 lots of DVD's.

THE RITEK HAS ARRIVED!!!!! pickup can be tonight. i got a uni exam at 8:30 then work straight after and finish at 5. Please do not ring if you have my number. i will be on at about 8ish
