hey there, just woundering if anyone is in a guild that can farm mc and kill rag that also does raiding at a decent hour during the week as my current guild only raids on weekends and well i have a life lol sence most of them are americans.

any help would be great.

not looking for Nice guys allience either as trying to see if there is a aussie guild that can farm mc with out major trouble.

Theres an alliance of guilds we're in that raids MC at 2am server time. Same with ony, and starting on bwl. Rag is pretty much on farm, but bwl isn't even nearly.

All the GU people are in Mighty Midgets, try asking mcstumpy or gerbie about what the go is, you might not get a run immediately because the alliance is fairly xenophobic about people from outside the core group :P

my list for mc items i need is like

prophency head, braces, belt, feet
talison of supream power
ring of "something"
ring of spell power
+shadow dmg belt from domo's chest
mana igniting card
and chocker of the fire lord

its proberly a big ask but thats all im after from mc lol.
got rest prophencym got epic staff and all that, just want the list to be complete hehe :P

yeah well... you'd probably have bugger all chance of that with us, as a whole our group frowns upon dps items going to priests atm. Even though we're on farm, its relatively recent and most of the raid still needs gear, so we aren't giving away rare items like those to new people and/or priests :P

yeh, and you'd also have no chance getting it cause in our raids priest gears just arent dropping ><

We have a 'core' group too. It'll take a few runs but if you make it known that you're a decent priest you'll get gear. But, not even Doy is in core group... and he's probably our best healer.

Also, MC is a 3.5 (getting shorter every run) hour run for us on Saturday night. We do BWL through the week (Vael to 6% on Friday with 34 people), Ony whenever its up and ZG whenever as well.

But yeh, don't expect to be able to get those items... especially since I'm gunning for the Mana Igniting Cord and Choker of the Fire Lord :P

why cant priests go for dps? priest in my current guild is usually the top 3 dmg lol.

mighty midgets is all epic looted up, we do ZG, ONY, MC, and just starting on BWL

Im with Harb and Seqo on this one man... We got MC down to 4 hrs now but not really looking to add people to any of the guilds. Pretty much a tight bunch ATM.

Same... We have full groups and tonight had 35 at the doors to ZG so we went BWL first before finishing ZG (I didnt need to go but need my shield! GRRRR)

As I said, you may start out with little to no attendance (you get dkp for showing up even if you don't get in) but you should see a bit of BWL attendance.

Basically, if you show up enough and get a name for yourself (also considering your past reaiding experience) then you have a greater chance of getting priority for raids. We've had low priest attendance lately, and some of our priests are... well... crap.

seqo i spoke to blood last night and basically i just need to think of what to say to my current guild so they dont all get pissy at me lol sence they are the ones that preety much gave me the gear i have haha.

jono seening how i wouldnt be able to run every mc/bwl cuz i see my gf on weekends usuallly id be only able to run every so often but after talking to bloodreign they are after priests for both week day raids and weekend so id definely be able to make zg, ony, aq raids, every day of the week thats if they need me.

alreeady spoke to him and understand that i may / may not get proity in raids seening is how im new, but im a priest, with gear, and i know what im doing so come on :P it wont take long haha.

i dont care if i have to wait 2 days to 1 month before i can raid zg or anything as long as i have fun and there isnt major drama every day - 2 days on vent/gchat, oh and everyone just gets along lol

Tonez, just say something like - you're not able to raid at Twisted Alliance times anymore - its interfering too much in your real life. So you're moving on to a guild that more adequately fits into your timeslots available for WoW.

heres the theorey priests getting DPS gear does not help 40man instance progression where as mages locks getting it does.

so priest get dps gear = good for self
priest not get dps gear = good for raid.

priests can do DPS tho,

not alot i have to admit i only know of 2 that can do better dmg then actually healing, but 1 doesnt play/ play often Immortality, and the other was in my old guild Nacho where he could do out standing dmg.

yes i know my class is to heal but isnt it true with dkp and loot, if u can and will use it, u can use your dkp?

but i know my first roll is to heal which i do the best i can but if i also see some nice +healing and dmg gear i shall use my dkp on it (if possible at the time)

Im all for Priest DPS but not in MC or BWL... Priest DPS out the door of UBRS!! Priests can heal thats their job in hi end instances... Warriors tank... and mages like Seqo can do all the damage!

Priest healing eq is totally useless to them in PvP on the most part. Mages/Locks
can do both with their sets. One off items are fair game if u have the dkp. But, it's whatever works for the guild of course. The new priest changes help Shadow Priests sustain better dps btw and will be a much more useful PvE option.

TBH as i sit here i'm waiting for Nef to respawn so we can kill his ass. Hoping for his mace to drop, cos +84 dmg/healing is just /droooooool

who has time to run high end instances and rank up to high warlord. One or the other. Either is a full time job, so if your running the instances it makes perfect sense to roll on gear suitable for high end instances. If your interested in pvp as a priest then you should be pvping for the best pvp equipment not wasting your time on MC & BWL...

nice theory but wrong. our guild had a highwarlord that still raided 2-3 times a week.

getting high warlord is more about who you pvp with than about how often you do it. although it does take alot of time, same with raiding.

We have an ex-GM hunter who was PvP'ing whilst raiding.

Tonez, you can bid on whatever you wish. Generally its better to get gear that will let you perform better in a raiding environment... and the overall consensus is to give priority to damage classes on damage class gear. But, the ToEP went to a priest the first time I had the DKP to get it... his dkp, his choice. Your dkp, your choice.

Its actually better to have Grand Marshals raiding with your guild in MC/Ony etc, especially if they are the same class as you.
Why? 'caus they dont mind passing on items :)

ok high warlord i meant whatever is the highest rank... and really you need to grind and grind and grind to get to that rank. Basically you have no life as well. If you were after the highest pvp rank you would spend any spare time pvping..

Plus if your more interested in pvp why roll on MC equipment when you get better equipment from pvping ... thats my point

but if your not a full on pvp'er like its a lil hard for u to get FM, to get the better gear, whats wrong with rolling on +healing and dmg gear in MC to help with enjoying your class when you arnt raiding.

i know mc = healing for a priest but i also know some people who dont like to play there priest our side on raiding cuz they say its boring lol.

actually i had a priest (till i quit wow) and I had massive arguments over the fact that I should be allowed the robe of volatile power if I wanted... bastards kept saying it was mage/warlock only :P

i had a 60 preist and i was allowed to take any item as long as i had the dkp for it. but this was after people we're fairly decked out, i could see why they'd rather dps items went to mages/locks if its the first couple of drops.

also spero, yeah pvp-ing to rank14 would take heaps of time if your grinding it in pugs, but the way it actually happens is the top pvp guild or team (combination of top guilds) always end up having a few GM/HWs because they do it really efficiently. It doesn't take as much time as you'd think cause by the time they get that good they have a reputation and they obliterate all pugs and they get afk wins heaps because people don't even bother taking them on.

yeh, I think its a little different once you've been raiding a dungeon for 6-12 mnths, and most people have their set gear, or atleast the majoirty of the gear they want/need.

in reality, our alliance has only been farming it for about half that time.. so only a few have their tier1 gears and items they want from MC. given time, I'd say that'll change.

A Druid on our Server, Sirron, grinded to Rank 14 purely in PuG's.

pvp takes forever even if you have an organised team. I bet a good team actually takes longer to pvp cause the morons just /afk out when they see them. (although the new patch would have stopped that.) That was what happened on our server over and over again. The first guy to make rank 14 on proudmoore seriously was logged on 90% of every day. We worked out he probably had two people playing his account. I think his name was phantomknight or something. And he was horde to which have a much better chance of getting into pvp because of the over abundance of moronic alliance.

hmm. i guess it happens differently on dif servers. on frostwolf the rank 14's really weren't on that much. I mean they were on about as much or maybe a little bit more than other 60s who raid or pvp. and when the other team afk's out you still get bonus honor from the win, and you win really quickly so it adds up.

also yes, generally ally are very retarded @ bg. cause ally is more noob friendly to beginners imo.

Last night, i was in hillsbrad as a hordie. A fellow horde hunter arrived (im a warlock). The council hall respawned on us and we destroyed every mob in there, without even saying a word to each other. Worked fkn well together.

I was also in WSG at level 26 prior to that. Instant raid invite and we wtfpwnt 3 games to nil. I havent seen that kind of teamwork from the alliance.
Now i know im being rather hypocritical in saying that, but goddamn, after playing in BG's with the alliance and then playing against them, they're shit :p

Then there was the level 30 warrior and 2x level 26 rogues that tried to take me down while i was pve'ing...and failed.
I hope all alliance arent this bad :p

It is common knowledge most women are just not good at strategising with games. You'll find a massive percentage of MMORPGs are women. You'll also find women are drawn towards the prettier characters. Human Mage ftw.

Now a bit less sexist, gamers can be split up to a few parts. Those that play a game to excell and those that play just to get to the highest level possible. Those that play to excell tend to shy away from traditional standards and select the characters that better suit thier gameplay. Most horde character have extremely strong racial characterisitics, and well......dwarves.

Those moronic newbs out there who yes ...once again select the pretty easy characters. Yes ....blonde human paladins ftw. On proudmoore pallys outnumber horde.

Of course there are the exceptions to this but the majority follows my little essay there.

Those who play for challenge are becoming few and far between as wow just does not support that kind of gameplay.

Instances take up to much time and you need to find 39 other people who are actually semi decant and not already snapped up

PVP does not take much skill at all, only the ability to grind... and grind and basically have no life but grinding. Full time workers cant begin to compete with unemployed addicts.

Wow just keeps making everything easier!! Every patch they buff another class, everything is just becoming easier to do.

To get the good items craft etc there is only one way GRIND. kill the same mob for hours and hours and just be lucky.....

The latest patch notes tend to indicate they are seeing the benefit of rewarding casual players :)

Compared to just about any other MMO in existence, WoW has a very small grind btw :)

yeah currently im rank 9, but seening how i only pvp'ed 1 full strong day i'll proberly loose it sence im JUST into rank 9, which sux, only cuz i was out with gf and work mates im going to loose my dam rank.

basically im seening how easily i can hold rank 10, then decide if i wanna push further, and or i can find a decent pvp team goin, as i know of a few on kel.

oh yeah, curious, Q to the people who have 60, hunter, mage, shaman thats preety geared up. either allience or horde, trying to find someone who'd let me give there character ago.

i know hardly any of u know me but the few who do i hope can say good things lol.

Accept it... Priests heal... Mages DPS... Warriors Tank... Druid heal too... Palis help heal and buff... Hunters pull and kite... and Warlocks WELL they summon and put DOOM on things (not for long!!)

If I saw you in PvE and attacked you, you'd be dead before you knew what hit you.

Your also level 60 with epics (and ezmode hunter).
My point was that I've seen more teamwork and assitance with horde players in a few simple weeks, than i had in 104 days /played as alliance.

For instance, the two hunters, dwarf priest and mage who ran into our base in WSG. Defended by yours truly, a fellow Warlock and a druid. The Dwarf priest didnt fear ward anyone, the hunters stood there forever not even auto-attacking, their mage got one spell off before being feared, CoT, CoA, Corrupted and Immolated to death, the hunters pets did negligable damage caus the're owners were dropped in about 15 seconds.

whereas i on the other hand was in a bg last night and was constantly focus fired by 4 hunters and their pets. stunlocked by hunters. how shameful.

on kel, allience Jhaz and arcus there pvp team, most horde just afk out lol :P

Our KT Alliance on Kel' Thuzad will be making a PVP team when we can work out some times when we get geared up to go do some SERIOUS PVP...

Sadly being a Pro Spec Warrior Im gonna be in AV and WSG most of the time either protecting the flag or with my 2 healers Qlymm and Ushio backing me up all the way... I HOPE!?!

i love organized pvp groups that know what there doin of course, hate beening full on healing, as most the time im a spot healer, just depends whos in the wsg/ab/av really, if its a good team well a good druid, mage, pally, i usuaully stay with them and heal.

iother then that i just do dps and kill shit :D
