Quote: Anthony “The Man” Mundine and Danny “The Green Machine” Green finally meet in the most anticipated and biggest event in Australian boxing history
I cant wait So whats everyone doing for the event? Me and a few mats are going to the pub to watch, pub yet to be decided.
who ever has the biggest brightest screen i recon the casino should be ok as there is a bar right behind us if its showing at the keno lounge but if we make to much noise there security will be right on us. where as a pub we could get away with a bit more noise.
are you willing to sign in me, my 2 co workers, their girlfriends, one of their girlfriends girlfriends, my mate from hockey and his brother and whoever on gu is coming to join us? if so ill be willing to give them a call :)
i don't like shananagans (just remeber waking up really drunk and hating them for some reason, im sure ill find out) and the casino is so tight they kick you out for the stupidist shit. i'd say a lot of the local pubs will be showing it cas club would be good so would the hub (although its a bit out of the way). failing that we could all make a trek to the good old HST (howard springs tavern) :D
I'm in for the casino, or ducks nuts if there showing it or even the deck bar if there showing it im not a fan of shanos but if the crowd is there im there. 1- casino 2- ducks 3- deck bar

ok booked a table for 6pm at sunset if anyone is keen for a feed under the name of "kelly" i wasnt sure how many people so i booked for 6. im going to be there prob around 5:30 and im sure if there is more people they will accomadate us.
and if we get there and now one wants to eat till later we can always change our dinning time to after 7:30pm i jsut thought its better to eat a bit earlier so we can give more consintration to liquid consumtion - and for those who may be a bit late we'll prob be eating for a while so just ask at the counter
but i think there will be quite a few people there, and buffet is probably the way to go. still, a few people might put their hand up for some chinese.
casino wasnt the best venue for it, seating was poor, sound was non existant, and the absolutly smashed lady behind me was screaming then sitting on my shoulder
now dont get me wrong i dont actually like mundine.... but honestly whod even heard of danny green before he started this crap with mundine? mundine has a big mouth and it and a fair bit of actual talent has made him famous green is a nobody who milked this for a fair bit of fame and mula.

Danny Green Career Fight Record The table below contains the enitre right record of Danny Green since turning professional after the Sydney Olympic Games 2000. Contained are all the dates, locations, opponents and the results of each of his fights over his professional boxing career.
So Philip, to say Danny Green is a nobody is a massive understatement. He is still one of Australias best Super Middleweights who was beaten on the night. Mundine certainly has the talent to go with his mouth and has rightfully earned himself bragging rights to now go where Green has already been and will most likely go to again.

The highly anticipated fight between Danny Green and Anthony Mundine fight has had an ugly sequel on Perth's streets, with a series of post-fight brawls across the city.
Fight fans and curious onlookers queued outside Perth hotels last night hoping to get a glimpse of the much-hyped bout between hometown favourite Green and outspoken rival Mundine.
With the pubs packed, patrons were forced to watch through hotel windows from footpaths and median strips.
The fight screened exclusively on pay television.
But after watching Mundine beat Green on points, some patrons began to beat each other.
Police were called to 13 licensed premises across Perth, where they attempted to break up brawls involving up to 60 people.
Three people were bashed unconscious and one 45-year-old man remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Western Australia police say they were not expecting trouble and are appalled by the behaviour.
There was a Push N Shove incident not two feet away from me during the fight as well. Pretty much topped off an absolute shit night at teh Casino. Like Knight mentioned Litttle to no sound Poor AC and ventillation Understaffed Ran out of ontap beer in stella, guiness, draught and VB (i mean what bar runs out of VB!!!) Poor security monitoring and organisation of seating leading to PushNShoves
and i lost 40 buks ;) Im never going back to the casino for any major televised event ever again let me give you the tip.
