That's it I'm sick of being sick. This is the third flu in as many weeks. i'm sitting here at work with the aircon on full bolt and I feel hot as hell with these damn hot flushes.

Stop trying to cool yourself down, and keep yourself warm, wear a jumper or something.
The increased body heat is a way of making your body fight harder against the disease/infection, cooling yourself, while it makes you feel more comfortable in the short run, is bad for you in the long run.

work gave me a flu shot back in march some time. i haven't even had a sniffle this winter, whereas last winter here i had a horrid cough for about 4 months.

Yeah the flu sucks, But I dont understand why people say, " Oh you must have that flu going around" .... the Flu is contagious, someone gets it, of corse other people, and people that know people, It's always gonna be around if ONE person gets it .. lol

I was having lunch with a friend a few weeks back, and I mentioned to her that I haven't been sick for a while, and it turns out, later that afternoon i came down witht he flu ffs :(

work gave me a flu shot at the beginign of the season. it only protects against the 3 main types as i found out twice to my disgust

Half of our helpdesk have been down for the week with associated flus and colds. myself included .
