How long did it take you to get out?
A friend and I went on one trip and I managed to get us bogged 4 times! Last time took us 3 or so hours to get out.

hahaha was that the turnoff to gunn point reserve? the left turn up past the bridge? or is it the right before the bridge?
Me and landrin have explored those lands throuroughly, always fun out there, shame you didn't get to the real 4wd'ing fun, hell i dont think you even got to the fenced reserve bit

yeah teh turn just before the bridge. I was actually trying to get up further along the howard river to flick some lures, but yeah 4 bog holes in and bam.
took about 1 1/2 to get out, with hand whinch and a drag by a bystander.
all good going again tomorrow :D

Ahh before the bridge, I've been bogged there in my old vitara once, it doesn't amount to much out there, but about 100-200m down that way from the bridge is excellent for yabbying. The better spot is to actually hang a left *just* after the bridge and head towards howard springs itself, a few tracks run off that dirt road and you find some real nice open water areas, perfect for flicking in.

yeah i went there first, however it was very covered and wasnt "open" enough to get me interested.
