Yeah, I have an ATI Radeon Xpress 1100, and a 2Ghz CPU.
I've had TF2 for a while now, and I've never had Phong, or Animations. I managed to get the Animations working with a custom autoexec. Also, when I run the game in DX9, quite often (but not all the time), my Particle effects don't work.
So, I was wondering is there a config or SOMETHING, that can get Phong working, and particle effects? And whenever I hear the dominating sound, or revenge sound, I crash. Is there a way to disable that, as well?

Apparently that specific graphics card is pretty shit and causes problems :( You should pick up a Nvidia 8500GT 512MB DDR2 graphics card for about $80USD. It should get you 40FPS at least in-game on full high settings! :)
80-100 fps fo shure, sometimes i would get the occasional slowdown at 40fps, everything on high except for AA (x2) and filtering (x4), bloom is off, and running in windowed at 1152 x 864 (playing this on the 17" CRT), when the res it put it and playing at full screen i would start feeling some lag :)

sry xao, i dunno how to fix laptop graphics problems, i would tell u what i would usually tell my customers at the store *ahem* "sorry but the game is too graphics demanding, please upgrade your computer buy purchasing this gaming system we pre-built here"
