Cheating Death (CD) will soon become compulsory on all Octa4 CS servers. I will be setting it up with Optional compliance for the next few days as people download and test the CD Client.
Go here and download it today - it is easy to use, sits in your taskbar and requires no configuration - in fact many of you probably are already quite aware of its use.

long answer - no [Blocked image] cheat detection programs search for possible files related to known cheats.. Cheating-Death mearly "hooks" the .dll file that ogc uses.. so if you run ogc, then cd wont hook the file and you get booted for not having cd running.. either that or the cheat doesnt work.. meh, its all on the cd website, read about it there [Blocked image]
Its very sad that servers have to resort to programs in task bars because theres lil wankers out there who think its cool to cheat online its bloody lame and they should be ashamed of themselfs [Blocked image] not saying its anyones fault but Im just tired of people cheating its annoying Counter strike have people cheat online and now Renegade have people cheating online mind u if your caught cheating u get banned from all westwood servers [Blocked image]
the only problem i have agisnt the program is that if u have to get swaped teams and your alive, u die automatily... sucide goes to ur stauts. [Blocked image]
Man , can eny1 help - cd has (since I installed it 6 - 8 weeks ago) always killed my frames - to the point of dialup days [Blocked image]
If this is the future of octa cs and I cant get it sorted - you wont see me on the server. That wont mean much to most of yas's, but it does to me , octa has always been a haven for good fun fraggin [Blocked image]

Yeah its quite frustrating when u get forced to change teams.. u loose a kill and gain a death and it counts as a suicide.. That is pretty gay.. i would rather just be kicked!

You see u could of just taken the entire team out and then get killed by team change and have NO money and u did all the work .. that not fair! and this program is supposed to even the game up!
you get to keep the cash you made by killing everyone, as it usually takes a couple of rounds for it to gather the information needed to know who's owning and who isn't.
Anyway, if you get pushed over, wouldn't it be like you'd joined them from the start? just play the game for the games sake dude, who cares what side your on - as long as you can afford an mp5 there's hope [Blocked image]

i cant aim that well long or even medium range with mp5 [Blocked image] hence why i rarely use it .. [Blocked image]

stop fkn bitching about it i for one like the plug in thingo, and GW OverDrive i suggest u all stfu about it & learn to live with it, i doubt it will be taken off its the best thing for the game, esp. on maps like dust & aztec where everyone ct rushes and the score ends up CT-14 1-T tards..
