i dont know how voodoos do AA, but nVidia, and i think ATi do it by displaying the image of the resolution you have set, but internaly, if the AA is set at 2x, the GPU renders the image at double the set resolution. thus 640x480 at 2x antialiasing is rendered at 1280x960 internaly, and thus has about the same jaggie…

Actualy, you did state the 30 fps thing as part of your arguement. you also havent addressed my post. so here are the answers: a) 4x VSA100 chipsets (v5 5500 has only 2) running at 183mhz each (5500 are at 166mhz) 128mb onboard memory .. draws 50 watts of power - requires special psu. b)assuming this card ever was a…
I just noticed something very interesting about the graph. The voodoo5 being tested is the 6000 model. Now Odyssey, as a great fan of the voodoo5 range, perhapse you would like to tells us : a) the specs of this card b) the price of this card c) the avaliability of the card.
i like the purple.
ok.
long answer - no [Blocked image] cheat detection programs search for possible files related to known cheats.. Cheating-Death mearly "hooks" the .dll file that ogc uses.. so if you run ogc, then cd wont hook the file and you get booted for not having cd running.. either that or the cheat doesnt work.. meh, its all on…
XP assigns all devices to one IRQ by default.. that where ACPI comes in.. it lets the operating system manage stuff like IRQ's.. disabling ACPI gives the IRQ control back to the BIOS. Often fixes problems like the one you describe :/
presumably you have a motherboard with a via chipset.. try a few different versions of the via 4in1 drivers.. another thing to try is to turn off ACPI in the motherboard bios.. cant think of anything else just now.
