Just letting you know Im heading to Perth Wednesday next week for about 4 weeks. When I get back I will assess the lag problems and if its still the same, I will be withdrawing permanently from CS online.
I have had Telstra check all my lines, modem etc and everything is up to scratch. I have got onto my ISP but apart from 2 guys directly involved in the game server, I get the impression the others including the manager doesnt give a flying f..k about the gamers or their issue.
They may need an attitude readjustment which I will be happy to provide on my return. If they happen to read this post, PULL YA HEADS OUTA YA ARSE AND FIX THE DAMN THING.
So when I get back if the issues are the same, I will Lan only.

Hey Sponge, before you go, can I get you to email me some details, like length of phone cord from modem to wall, brand and model of modem, as well as some screenies of pings to things like the octa4 CS #1, www.abc.com.au and www.yahoo.com - I'll go hunting for some kind of cause to the latency problem and if I can lay my hands on the problem, i'll fix it for you. If possible too, (and assuming they haven't already) can I get you to try and get a MOLDS test done through telstra, and then email or fax me the results.
