DGA EVO 2 is set and ready to go. sorry about the mess around. Big Thanks to Eater for putting a firecracker up my ass, and getting me to organise it. Evolution 2 Registration list is open, sign up quick. The sponsorship is coming in, prizes look good, We will have 3 main comps running a CS, SOF2 (CTF) and RA3, Clan sign up page will go up later (unseen has posted a Comp plan), and the finals comp will be shown on HTVL from a data projector :lol:
The 3 EVO LAN event will go ahead, Date is 3rd, 4th and the 5th of August 5th being a Monday public holiday. The Venue will be the Greek School Plan to hold about 150+ people no problem.
*sigh* ohh well, there goes my 4 weeks annual leave *grumble*
Hey Howie, what kind of miracle would it take to get Evo #2 up on time? I have some spare time starting the week after next, and hey, there might be some highschool kids who need to be kept out of trouble (Neo :wink:)
Consider my services volunteered for miracle procurement duty should you need it.

damn, looks like i am going to miss out on the first day/night of the lan (DAMN MY WORK!).....hopefully I can still make it for the last couple of days :cry:

yea that would be good.. since i am going to miss on Evo2 ;(
a whole 3 day lan jesus i dont think i could stay awake for that long :!: i couldnt even last the 2 day landed event cause i crashed at liek 7am lol o well at evo 2 will there be space to crash or i gotta sleep undr the tables again?
bring a sleeping bag or a mattress or soemthing and if you 'set up ur comp in the right place' ;) ;) then there is no problem sleeping near your computer and next to say....a wall :)

The greek school is like a few blocks from my place, so if anyone I know that lives far away needs a place to crash to get SOME sleep............I have two spare beds, but i'm sure you could throw a sleeping abg on the floor and sleep like that no probs!

Its only my job to allow people to register :) It will stay open, more clans can register, however i'll assume the first 8 clans have the priority. If the extra clans still get to participate is upto the Competition organisers, namely CrazyC and Unseen.
HMMMM yeah 8 clans is a little to few, really this is Evo this is like the lan that Darwin clans wait to play for, it would be a shame to see some clans not be able to war just cos we want 8. I know time is a major factor here, but Im sure you can easily have 2-3 wars going at once no prbs.
Anyway Id like to see everyone get the opportunity to war.

Have two stages to the tourney, the first one being some form of round-robin game (have each clan play 3-4 others and take the 8 clans with the most wins).
When you arrive at EVO, Please head over to Crazy C or Clackers, for Payment and a seat location, you will NOT be allowed to setup before seeing the Admins. Also their will be a web server running with most of the info regarding then LAN and Comp times...
