Where on the website do i look to see how to setup my .cfg so i can get onto the gamers-underground server my stupid IBM 60GXP hard drive failed so i borrowed a mates shitty old one temporarily but yeah a little assistance would be nice.

afaik all you need to do is fill in your wonid in your profile and then join the server unless you think you need the added security. But you haven't filled in your wonid.
To get your wonid.. start a LAN game or join an online game and then bring the console down and type status. This will display a bunch of server and player statistic. Write down your WonID. Then go into your profile for the forums and put your wonid in there where it asks for it. Then make sure you don't have a admin.cfg file and just join the server and everything should be sweet.

I know my WONID i know my password what i dont remember is the way to setup the cfg file that allows me onto octa4 server 1 now if anyone could oblige.

Well i just tried to get on and couldnt so id have to disagree i dont know where you got that idea from maybe cause you dnot need one for server 2???

IF RUIN WAS SO FUCKING CORRECT THEN WHY COULDNT I LOG ONTO SERVER ONE BEFORE I HAD THE .CFG FILE BUT COULD AFTER BLOODY STUPID PPL JUST CAUSE THE ADMINS MEANT TO HAVE CHANGED OR SAID THEY CHANGED IT DOESNT MEAN THEY HAVE AND I THINK NEXT TIME YOU MIGHT TRY TO DELETE YOUR .CFG FILE AND THEN TRY TO CONNECT BEFORE CRITICISING. HONESTLY YOU DONT THINK I TRIED CONNECTING NORMALLY IN THE FIRST PLACE. I still have the admin one, i love seeing the password accepted thingy
and it doesnt work without it, tells me to register

In your profile, (for this messageboard) under the gaming section, empty the section with your server password, and delete your admin.cfg - allow sufficient time for a new map to load (load new settings) - and wallah :)
Ohh and Harb, it still says password accepted for user "youname" :)

ruin was entirely correct, no .cfg file is needed. i haven't had the admin.cfg file since this was implemented.
and yet the set out is quite clear enough for anybody that is willing to look.
if you had read enough of this website, like you should have in order for you to actually register, then you would have discovered what is needed to gain you access to the server.
however, you came on here asking a question. this wouldn't have been too bad but, as is usual for...'n00bs' (as you so elegantly put) the first answer that doesn't work is 'incorrect'. even though it is.
everything was almost fine until your last post.
and so i stand by my post that "Ruin was correct....twice".
...not that i feel the need to justify myself to anyone...or anything...:P
p.s: this post was made pretty much entirely out of boredom on my part...i mean no offence to DoWhatUWant....*sigh* school holidays are tormenting me with frustration....
