Why does UT2003 think my processor is a Authentic AMD Pentium Pro?
It isn't a problem, I just noticed it when it was loading.

I think it should be right, as it's referring to it as a PentiumPro class processor, and still acknowledging it's an AMD proc. It's not really concerned with the actual CPU, just how it works really.

Anything from a K6-2 or higher has MMX. Mere_Male you must be thinking of AMD's SSE. They don't actually have SSE they have 3DNow Professional that is 100% compatible with SSE.

Not scrapped, just not improving. They are following Intel with SSE, SSE2, XMM ect and in doing so they will always be the underdog (Intel's bitch).

Everything is a Pentium-class. AMD has to because Intel help make the standards.
