anyone suggest a good place to get an ADSL modem?
i know can get teh billion modems from hallmark, anyone suggest anywhere in particular?

Post 6

the billion are supposed to be average quality and good performance and are very cheap. if you drop around to Frontline i think they have Dynalink ones there for about "89. also, internode sell modems themselves, D-Link which are of a high quality for about "90 also.

try www.cougar.com.au
www.cws.net.au
www.eyo.com.au

all are good and have good products with good prices. ring them up and don't be shy about asking for what's good, give them your situation (whether you need an ethernet modem/router etc or just a USB) and tell them what price range you are looking for.

alcatel are middle of the range, the speed touch home are higher then the other products in their lineup though.
