Well there is a party at my house anyway cause its Brads/Raiyas birthday

But if im not
few tips for young drinkers

-Dont sit down all night and drink. U will fill up get smashed then be unable to stand. Keep moving and ease ure equilibrium into it.

-Every couple of drinks have some water to help rehydrate the body. It will be hot and alchohol makes you sweat fierce.

-Keep an eye on your fellow drinkers and help them to enjoy themselves with you. Never leave a good drinker behind.

-Only accept silly challenges if you feel confident. Even if you do fail the challenge, laugh joke and smile and say "Your Turn".

-If you have had enough, simply hold onto a drink for a long time and move around the party lots. People will still think you are drinking and its cheaper too.

-Beware that older more expierienced drinkers will generally pace themselves the entire night then go out with a bang. Dont accept challenges at this stage.

-Never drink as fast or as long or as much as Eater, its dangerous and Unhealthy. Even i know my limits and try hard not to cross em.

-Dont be angry upset or depressed before drinking thinking that it will help, it wont. Alchohol is a depressant, plain and simple.

These are afew guidlines that ricochet around my cavernous head, usually i follow em, sometimes i dont and pay the price.

But aside from that have a Happy Bday Brad and i hope it makes you smile and be happy for a long time after the event. Ill try my best to get there :)

*hides* i shall attend and accept thy drinking challenge, but mainly im there to have a good time :) not just to get smashed.

Something along these lines is how the "standard drinks" system was developed. Mind you, the standard drink is based on big nasty 6-foot coppers from FNQ, so YMMV.

The effect of alcohol on a given person is a function of:

* Their ability to metabolise it into sugar, and
* The amount of blood they have.

Basically it's down to height & weight, and your liver. That is, ability to sink piss is genetically determined, apart from the weight issue. Some people can, some people can't.

And no, the liver does not become more efficient at metabolising alcohol with practise. :)

Overtime though, the liver does become more defficient.
Therefore, its ability is reduced expotentially.

On this basis i make this assumption.
The longer you drink, the easier it is to get pissed...DRINK ON!!!!!

Also, i have another theory.

Actually Brad in regards to your earlier question, there is an excel spreadsheet which calculates how drunk you are I have it around somewhere. Does it off height and weight which calculates body fat in a way. Quite good. Does a whole nights performance.
