Unless you really need a Duron because you're THAT strapped for cash or you need it for an older motherboard then don't get it.. get an XP 1800+ or similar as they're only a little bit extra.

I have duron 700mhz, you can have it for $40.
cannot help with the video card. I used to run it with a gf2 card and got 100fps easy.
Also have atx tower case, missing power supply, has side panels very sturdy case. prob only ask $30 for it.

CS is all CPU now, even a TNTshmue, Voodoo3 or two Voodoo2's will give you 100fps. I know having more frames is better, but do you really need exactly 100fps for this slapped together comp?
Korns I can get an XP1800+ for "45 (box) :P talk about a bargain.

Crap. it will not get 100. and no looking at the wall with no players in the game on 2rooms does not count.

Actually my brother is using Ody's voodoo 3 atm and he was getting 100 fps in a full server.
