Actually, I tend to agree with him.
I go for practical modifications. Already have plans to add a handle to my case, and for additional heat sinks for hard drives, etc... bunches of practical stuff... not this useless crap. -.-

Most of my mods (planned for near future and current) have been practical with exception to the window and cathode. Although the window is practical cos you can see in the case and look at all the cool stuff without having to open the case :lol:

I used to be into the modding thing for looks etc. Though having seen the light the only mods I do now are practical mods - eg. Handles (ha ha at all the people struggling out at lans with case in their arms)

Same, I really only care about heat, noise and a nice clean layout. Going to get a Seagate sATA drive soon and an pATA100 CDROM. That way I can use a serial cable for the hdd and the Abit serial adaptor for the CDROM. The adaptor only works with pATA100 or 133, not 66 or 33. I don't use floppies (no silly jokes pls :P ) so I will be completly parallel free. No messy ribbons for me. 8)

Slightly off topic, but does anyone else get a cold chill down ther back about TN1 doing case mods ??
I mean, U need to use power tools for case modding..
