if any one is interested in getting the same prices as or lower than CWS and Game dude (ill try and match game dude or anyone else) (or any other shop if you give me there name and URL). if you want a price list please replie to this post.. (some prices and brands i can not match at this time)
also if you have been reading www.overclockers.com.au they linked to a story about a guide to "spotting crazy AthlonXP's.. some 1800+'s that deep inside just wanna be 2600+'s". Here is the URL-->> http://mp3.zonebg.com/cpu/cpu.php Alpha PCS are able to hand pick out that CPU (at extra cost but not to much) for you to overclock with ease.
i find it hard to believe though that they could match..? don't darwin wholesalers have to sell a little extra to negate the outrageous freight costs to up here?
Quote from MaestrO47: i'd like a price list too thanks
do they sell compact flash cards too???

i can get tumb drives flash cards smart cards (etc) and there readers.. yes we do have to charge a little bit extra... but if you order 2 items (from the same guys) you can cut the cost... thats why with my price list ive included that if you buy more than one item at once... you get every item after that first one $5 off.

lol
rkdatastore may have good prices but the service sucks!
I gave them a ring. no one answered. I pmed the "owner" thrice in OCAU (Poojou nickname) and still no answer. I sent an email to the address listed in their webpage and still no answer.
I rather pay a little bit more and still get good service. :)
sorry guys... ill have a price list this friday.. oh on a side note i will be taking pre-orders for the themaltake Subzero4g thermo-electric cooling unit. The rrp is $350 But if you pay for it in cash in full this month it will be yours for only $320 (shipped) this is the price for both Intel P4 and AMD Althlon Versions http://www.thermaltake.com/products/subzero/subzero4g.htm
hey, question, whats your warranty policy?? eg: i buy goods, and it dont work, i take it back to you, do you give me a replacement, and take up the stock replacement with the people who you got it from? or do you send mine back and wait for the replacement? also, what are ya suppliers warranties like?

great question. As I said before, I don't mind paying extra as long as service is good. :)
After-sales service is a good barometer on the quality of service a store gives to its clients.
im sorry if i have been unable to answer your questions so far... ive had a famly matter to see to. i consider my supplyers warranty service to be good.. i will always test the products i sell you before you have it and if it needs to be replaced i will get the replacement sent up before i send the faulty part back (so only a delay of about a day if its faulty unless i have higher sales in that case i will start stocking parts). i get all my ram cpu's msi mainboards airbaged up (overnight) due to this cost im willing to discount every order (not including cases) $7 after the first item (on every item up to 3kg in weight).. the price list is still being made right now... but ive got a interm one to send to your email... if you plan to buy in bulk i am willing to discount more. i can also get DVD's X-box games PS-2 PS-1 and game Cube games as well as some hardware for them.
yeah, dragar, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i hadn't checked my email when i wrote that, i got the pricelist and realised, its all good =) had a bit to do with legend ram too, no complaints here, warranty service isn't bad over there =P
Quote from Dragar: SARDOK.................Legend RAM which means MEMTEK ARIA aswell........
just a guess but an educated one and i think i will be correct!! :P
you would be right... im also going to be splitting up the parts list into cases drives ect. you will have to wait for a bit for the games list.... i maybe able to match Target or kmart but... dont hold me to that one. so what do you think of the list so far?

My experience with rkdatastore was different. I had no problems with email or communication with Rkdatastore. Getting hold of Poojou was easy as he frequents overclockers IRC. No, where they fall short is in the integrity department. In the end it might have been better had they not replied since I could have spent my money with a more reputable vendor. A pity since the prices are good but you have to ask yourself whether it is worth the aggravation. They are the sort of outfit you pray you don't have to send something back if product is faulty. You would get excuses, denials, lengthy waiting periods and no resolution. I've dealt with Secretnet and have found the service to be excellent. Not the cheapest though.

pccasegear are selling this item for $279 (plus "1 delivery).
I read the reviews at overclockercafe, and they said that the SLK 800 with a SmartfanII still beats it in terms of cooling. The only benefit of this unit was that it was much quieter. Quite an expensive effort in silent cooling, IMO.
ok im willing to match that with shipping. but i was informed that the RRP was $350. cash price and money in full only and no $7 discount on that item if purchased with another item..

Unfortunately, I found no truth in Alpha PC Matching or getting anywhere close to matching GameDudes Pricing.
Now to state this, it is only on one product so I dont know if it is possible on other things. So dont get too upset, this is just my experience.
I was looking for a hdd, so I thought I would contact Alpha PC to see how they went on pricing. I called and mentioned the fact that this thread in on the forum.
To cut it short the pricing difference is about $75.
Just thought you should know, as it is not right saying you can do something and then not being able to.
Sorry for the Negative Feedback

thats ok it helps me in being better at doing my job. i do realise that on some items i can not match in price. I should have said that im willing to try and match gamedue and CWS. But anyhow about that price... i do not have as large a customer base as gamedude as they sell Australia wide while i do not at this stage. As such i can not force my supplyers to lower their prices to the extent that they do. Im quite willing to try to match anyone out there... its just on some items i can not. I am deeply sorry that i was unable to match Game Due on that product.
