Don't need to install anything. And you have to be a respected member of the community and then I think the current admins might discuss it and decide if they need more admins.

You don't need to be a good player to be admin. But you do need to be well known on the servers and on the forums and usually have been around for a long time. And I don't think you can ask to be admin most of the time. Where have I seen that avatar before? :P

well i will work on getting better well known, ive met alot of the admins but im not sure if they will remember me. :D lol my avatar is heaps old but its always a laugh :P

becoming an admin requires maturity, a certain level of intelligence, cool-headedness and (specific to GU) a respected and known member of the server and/or the forums.
got a lot to do yet guys ;) :P

As far as i know we have enough admins.
However, as the other guys have said, get known and demonstrate a certain level of maturity and quality.
There are certain things that are looked for when scouting for new/more admins. However, you cannot really be told what these qualities are, but more so these qualities are seen in you.
