not too bad hay smitty
should give the inside of the case a bit of a tidyup tho
Post 4
and why the hell have you routed the fan cables on the OUTSIDE of the case?
Post 5
Pse don't take offence, but rule number one if you're going to put a window in your case, make the effort to tidy up that damn mess of cables.
Sorry, a case mod is more than just a window and lights - it's got to look spotless on the inside.
Try routing all your cables on the other side of the case - in the gap hidden by the drive bays.
Post 6
get some rounded cables smiddy. they will help immensely.. use tape to get those power cords out of the way also.
Post 7
dont mind me fellas - but isnt the whole idea of modding so you can do whatever you want if it looks cool to you?
why impose standards which people must follow - such as keeping the case tidy inside?? kinda makes it look interesting anyway
Post 8
the point is also to make others see how much work you've put into it - it's like a car. you keep it clean and it looks good and people see how well you treat it. don't keep it clean and it reflects badly on you.
that is in definite need of a tidy up. granted my case isn't much better but i don't have it all lit up like that ;)
Post 9
so if you wanna light up your case you should tidy it up? fair enough...
still i like the idea of the computer in the moniter - would be nice to see a move towards the more unconventional setups :P
Post 10
i reckon it looks better non-tidy, just my ho
Post 11
personally I think it looks kinda uggg ugly.
Looks like you threw in a cathode and some fans and away you went.
Post 12
Shockingly crap.
Try and meld the colours on the case more effectivly.
Post 13
hmm..i dont see much point in having those fans really coz the air flow is blocked wif wires n crap.
Post 14
well im gonna do it now, and take off that fkn cathode fan thang, fkn ugly piece. will clean up wires, add some siny stuff and well, thats where you guys come in. I have decided to put 120 buck towards modding. what shall i do, suggestions?

if you have a grill like this where the black grilling is where it can concel the fan but let light out put it there not sure if your case has one of them.
Prolly might wanna re do the window casue IMO fans in windows look fugly but thats up to you.
Get aswell some rouned cables but if your gonna put UV CC's in, get UV rounded cables.
Thats all about i can think off atm.
Post 16
well i think u shoudl just get some rounded cables
and a window applique or whatever its called
that will make it look a bit better
Post 17
you are asking me to redo the whole mod man. i am getting some normal rounded ide cables cus the ones i have now are fukn anbnoyning, apart from that it is clean at the moment. Not redoing window, but puting cathode on the top of the case for more light. Does anyone know if i can get a p4 version of this? -

get wiring loom for all the Power cables.
thin loom.. not the thick stuff... your case couldn't handle the thick stuff.
you cannot get an Aero7+ for intel sockets. try the Vantec Aeroflow or the Thermaltake P4 Spark HSF's. if you really want to go the extra step (only really needed if you are doing some massive Overclocking on a P4) then go an SLK900U (can't find 800's for intel cpu's...) or a Swiftech MCX4000 and add an 80mm or 92mm fan to them.

Yeh, thats what i was going to do, just if i could get that fan, i really love it so i would. How far could get overclocking wise with the intel stock fan?
BTW: Thnx evil
Post 23
on what speed CPU and what core revision is it?
Post 24
1.8ghz dunno what core revision...
Post 25
pretty sure it was an old p4.. not quite sure why i remember :P
Post 26
You can tell by it's L2 cache
Post 27
intel stock fan and an older 1.8 P4... don't expect any higher than about 2.2 - 2.3 depending also on the other components (ram and mobo specifically)
Post 28
has another fan directly infront of it in the window (extra cooling) and is on 512mb ram with an ASUS P4S8X-X mobo. i want 2.4 :(
