*sigh* It doesn't have spyware. It's not spyware. Very simply just don't enable auto updates, and don't update your machine via the Windows update utility.

Well first looks are good. With everything running to the full kit, from SP3 with 253k or memory being used now down to 153k of memory being used.

yea it works like a charm here too
got it on all my machines now, runs fast, and cleans up quite a few memory leaks as well.

Hrm might be worth installing, although SP2 works flawlessly for me so why bother.

I installed Windows 2000 with sp4 and it works well and it seems to load up and shut down faster than when i had win2k with sp2-3.
I'm happy with it and it's alot better than Windows xp that i've had on for the past few months. Windows xp doesn't like me or something because i've had it on twice now and it's been nothing but trouble. Never had a problem with win2k though so i've now decided to stick with it. lol.

More than definitely worth fixing, I was suprised with the actual changes I noticed in how smoothly everything worked. Change between Sp2 and sp3 wasn't very much in terms of what you see actually changes but from 3 to 4 the change is very noticable. Not to mention it does free up a whole load of memory usage, like in my case 100MB
Also just made my own slipstreaming copy of Win2k sp4 bootable CD. Works great, on install goes straight to sp4. http://www.bink.nu/bootcd/

Do u guys know how large SP4 is? Since I don't pay for the net usage at home I seldom get to download stuff. Do u know if any PC Mags have SP4 on their CD's or DVD's? Or is there anyone in the Darwin-Palmerston region with a copy yet?

PC user; PC Authority, APC and a couple of others they should all have them on CD by this month's or next month's Mag.
It's about 120MB download.
