Hey everyone, i have seen this done on others forums.

tell us what your username means and how you got it.
Eg mine:

BlueBlood - I was watching the WCW(wreslting) like about 4 years ago, then i heard one of the wreslters say that someone is the 'BlueBlood' of the wrestling world, i thought that sounded cool, so every since then thats been my username. Also 'BlueBlood' means Royal Blood, so that must mean that im very rich and Royal of course :P.

I was playing doom at a friends place when I was about 7 or 8 and I was playing with full cheats (of course). There was this boss guy, and I was trying to shoot him, but my friends older brother switched me to the chainsaw and I didn't know how to change it back (ahhh...the innocence of youth - now I'd just hit him) so I charged the boss and was drilling him in the but with a chainsaw but I had to go, so my friends older brother saved my game as "Wally" (cos I was a real Wally) and the name just stuck. Now about as many (or more) people know me by Wally as any other name.

So thats the sad story behind my nickname :)

Surprisingly, my name does not mean that I am Amphibious in anyway. I am not an excellent swimmer, though I can swim. I am not in love with water in any real way, though I do like it. I use to play on Zone.com (MSN Games) and there names were crap. 15 characters, only underspaces, capitals, lower case, numbers. Very hard to have a name. I started out with Forgetful_Duck... then switched to Amphibious_One - I don't know why, I just think it's cool 8)

'Bout 8 or so years ago, i was listening to a random song i downloaded over Napster on dialup. It was called "The Great Milenko".

Anyway, i thought it was a funny/cool song and i used that name.
At the time, it was unique in online gaming and up to about 2 years ago, i never saw anyone else online with it.

I used to use "Suggs" at LAN's but then remembered my old name of "Milenko" and used that.
From that day on, everyone at LAN's referred to me as Milenko and so it stuck ;)

Now its just Milly, Mill or Lenks mainly.

a very old friend of mine had a name called orangejuice so then i was

thinking a new nickname for CS and my friends suggested my nick to

be LemonJuice and further on here were people who play cs who had

AzN at the front so i got curious about what it meant so i asked them

(they were my friends as well) what it meant and i added AzN at the front

I came up with my name like a few months before the HSC of 2002, and and a lot of people often mistaken Text-Book Hero to be a Hero of like study exercises and stuff.... well I actually thought up my name to be more along the lines of a hero who typically did heroic stuff in stereotypical forms, whilst confined to the guidelines of a text-book in how to be hero or something like that. I.e if you see me runnin round savin the hostages and then killin all the bad guys, 8) that's sorta thing. Not carrying a book while I do stuff :P

smiddy is a common nickname for john smith (also from austin powers 1)

girl gave it to me as a pay out about two years ago, but then we made up and people have been calling me this ever since

Hrmm my name got given to me first year of high school... we were studying Tsunamis... somehow we started talking about the relationship between my size and the power of a tsunami and then my name came into play...

My nickname was originally Sammy G, cos all my friends called me that. But then for online and gaming etc. I decided I needed something more mysterious that doesn't give me away and also sounds cool ... er.

So thought for a bit and thought "if playing a game whats the worst thing you could possibly encounter? ... a target that when you hit it, it hits right back at ya" so a Mirror Target ......

for something thought up in 10 seconds thats not too bad.

i wanted something no one else would have, that was short and sounded good.... i like brian froud's artwork, so i went through my book of good faeries/bad faeries and cme apon Lilu.... basically although her personality isnt much like mine, i loved the way the little paragraph about her was written, it made me smile, so thus Lillu was born.
I also use Lilith here and there for the whole girlpower adam and lilth story...

Well my nick is Insomnia atm and that is because sleep is what I do the least.

Insomnia is actually derived from ‘Insomnia Shadowdrake’ (sleepless shadow dragon) the name of one of my character and I really liked it and decided to use it but had to change it as it was too long :(

However, I am always referred to as lani. That is my irl nick. I am thinking of changing it back to lani, but I am too lazy to redo my sig atm :P

Knight of Nih's name is actually Kite of Ned, referring to someones kite. However as we've seen in his posts, hes keyboard ineptness led to other things.
Therealmadcow is just a reminder. By pointing himself out as the real madcow, people might stop referring to his mother as a mad cow.
Exodus name meas the mass leaving of people, such as the leaving of people from any thread this guy touches.

I used to call myself the assassin, but got bored of it... So i decided to look up ancient gods. Apophis, is a serpant god who is constantly doing battle with Ra for control. mines a hard one :P . i only started using this since i started playing GU cause i was getting owned so very badly wheni first started on the wc3 servers. i decided to keep it cause its funny when i actually play well. i had also only been playing CS for a month or 2.

before this i had Deus Ignis. which kinda translates to "god of fire" in latin. before that it was kafkaeque demon whic i got from opening a random page in the dictionary then adding "demon" for spice.

before that it was AZK12000. the AZk was based on my previous name Alien Zombie Killer (i needed a user and that randomly popper into my head)on the old PCPP forums and the 12000 because azks to short and i have no udea y i chose 12000 out of all the numbers out ther though. hmm, what before that.

o, EvilCyberMonkey was my D2 nick, which got shortened to MOnkey for CS when i started playing it.

now going back about 4 years i was Mammoth becuase i got the nick at school when i had long shaggy hair (like a mammoth). it turned to black mammoth for a while just cause it sounded cooler. but then my dad pointed out the possible implications of this.

Hmmm...I have been known as Sgt_Haflic in TFC days and Dunderlinger in DoD.....Monkey is my name from CS and is how I and known to most others that know me.

It was when I was first trying to play CS (1 week before EVO LAN) and my brother was watching me play online.
I would charge the enemy face on and empty all my bullets in primary and secondary weapons and finish charge with knife and chase them until either (a) I killed them or (b) I got killed.

My brother reckoned that with all of my screaming and BANZAI charges I was playing "Like a f*cking Crazy Monkey" and hence forth for my 1st LAN (EVO LAN) I was registered as Dunderlinger but arrived as Monkey.

I was thinking of a name for a d2 sorc and I thought about the skill static field, then I thought of a cool thing to put on the end of it, so I decided on revenger.

Before that my name was Stevangelion, derived from my name and Evangelion, but it was too long and sounded a bit gay so I decided to change.

And although some of you may be thinking I did, I infact didnt steal my name from the dj guy called Static Revenger, I only recently discovered that he existed when I was bored and typed www.staticrevenger.com into internet explorer :D

Was playing a first person shooter a while back and was looking for a name that inferred I was going to phuc people up in the game, so meat being them and axe being me, and hopefully blood and death for them.

And it just kinda stuck with me, never run into anyone using the same name so I just kept it.
