Post 8

how can the best spoert with an oval ball be soooo covered in controversy!? okay well its easy.... the only reason there arent nearly as many scandals in AFL is bacause all the guys they force are too scared to admit they like the boys, not the girls.... *digs*

RL is an all round more tougher and exciting sport.....

Post 9

Well, I'm a Knights supporter, but I havent been following the game for the last 2 seasons. However it's nice to see that Penrith came from nowhere last season to become the premiers, I watched that Grand Final I think that was one of the best games of League I had ever seen.

Post 10

Yeah thats why i did so shit in the tipping comp last year
i didnt start tipping penrith till 3/4 through the season

ditto, completely agreed

but league can be interesting at times

Post 16

yeh, watch something that requires skill with the ball, instead of brute force
AFL/Soccer/Ice Hockey are the ones to watch

Post 17

but brute force makes you cheer louder... skills are over rated. if i wanted skill i'd sit in on a lecture or watch table tennis.... now THAT is a sport!! ;)

Post 18

You saying Rugby Union doesnt require skill with the ball? I think you had better actually watch the sport first....

AFL, pansy little men running around kicking the ball wherever there's a gap
soccer, stupid bastards claiming they got knocked in the head with the ball when it onyl hit them in the stomach (ronaldo was it?)
hockey, men with big padding.

well la di da!

like od said, watch a game of union, then come back and tell us it's a game that doesnt require skill. every pass and kick is the small part of a greater offensive move.

boo to you all!

Post 20

am i manly?

Post 21

no.

Go the Dragons!

Post 22

lock up ya daughters , cats , dogs , goats and anything else female .....

Post 23

there footballers, who said the goats have to be female...

Post 24

Manly number 1 this year :D

Post 25

Union thanks.

Watching the broncos pretty closely because an ex-senior from my school has made the team. Karmichael Hunt, is one of the best rugby players I have ever seen, playing with the Broncos off the bench, and hes only 17. So in the NRL I'm goin for the Broncos, but Super 12 is where its at. I think the Waratahs could pull it off this year, the Reds already have no chance but I'll keep hopin.

Yeh I've watch union manyer times.
*dot pointed per sport*
-I agree soccer gets stupid at time, thats why you should only watch the under 21 matches
-Howcan you say AFL has no skill, you've got to keep on your guy while his player kicks a point point kick with an od shaped ball to him from 40-60m away and then try stop him from geting it. and try hand balling a foot ball 25m to your player instead of throwing it.
-Icehockey, you need pads when i got hit in the stomach with about a 90km/h puk Quote:
PAz0r - Awww fuck, it left a brousie for 3 month >:/ and ice is hard than dirt. hitting a ice then the wall left my tail bone bent, i found it hard to sit down for a few month :(

FOOTY SHOW
on tonight watch it casue its the funnehest

Post 29

um how about no .....

Post 30

Whoa TonGun, if you don't like footy why are you replying to the thread at all.

Making blanket statements about the players, isn't a good thing. I used to play this sport when I was younger, but I wouldn't call myself and my team a pack of rapists or practicing beastiality people. That is just plain insulting.

/rant off

What are the chances of getting a game on TV at a decent time, or better still each week do a alternating swap with AFL and NRL for the first game of the evening.

Post 31

In Darwin!? yeah right, Darwin is AFL town - too many bloody SA/VIC people here...

Post 32

I know, as a former New South Welshman, I can dream...

Next thing you know I will be wanting channel 10 up here

Post 33

It was Denhilson, and he was hit in the knee, and he owned up to it later
but soccer is a great game to watch and PLAY :D
