was a good game untill the Profesionsal foul on Sing, which should have been awarded a penalty try.
Not to mention the broken jaw in the first 5 mins of the second half

There were a number of incidents, that all happened in the first half, that were caused by the Blues playing an extremely dirty game. Late going into tackles - the pro. foul on sing was just wrong and Minichello should have bloody well known it - Kennedy coming in and aiming at Wesser to get him away from the ball etc. What got me was the ref didn't call any late tackles against NSW. Oh well.
However, Qld, after the half time break, played like shit. *sigh*
On another note, Gould is a pig. Couldn't believe the media conference. He walked off the field - an event that was criticised by the media and NSW Fans alike - and he was having a go at the media for bagging him.

Gould has apparently had a lot of criticism of the media in the past, esp News Corp. Although he doesnt name names, it was probably whom he was diverting most of his anger towards.

If you understand the conflict of interest between certain newspapers and the "SuperLeague" debacle a few years ago you will understand what he means.

Yes I would agree that it should have been penalty try, but if you were watching the same game I was then you would have noticed QLD scored on the next play (karma perhaps) and I doubt they would have scored straight off the restart if they had been awarded the try.
I also note that you didnt mention the blues being ripped off when the ball was stripped as they were scoring a try, and they were awarded a penalty? instead of a penalty try (lack of karma?).

Sing being held back on that try i can understand, and they scored a couple of plays later, but i disagree with everything else, i found the ref sided with QLD more than with NSW. The guy called on video ref quite a few times on tries, and good on him because they ended up not being tries.
The game itself was pretty average, average state of origin play. the breakaway and run from willie mason was awesome, too bad he couldn't finish it off with a try, and good on fittler for his efforts.
i didn't watch after the finish of the game, but gould walked off early from this match?
i can sympathise with him leaving after state of origin 2, after all the stuff in the news with the NSW team and the shit play that night, and the media hounding him, i dont blame the guy one single bit.

:| Yeah definately outclassed, hopefully next year we will get some new talent (i.e. Karmichael Hunt) and do a little better. NSW defence was awesome - QLD hitups made about 5m where NSW hitups made 8+. Can only wait til next year i guess.
