I just want to see what everyone else considers to be the most addictive game ever made. Can be old or new, doesnt matter.
For me i think it was X-Com 2: Terror from the Deep. I played it to death, nothing else came close until Diablo 2, but even that was soft-core compared to this game.
WoW :(. If you mean as in older games, there was this one game called Imperialism that i must've played for at least a bajillion hours. That and Sid Meier's (sp!?) Pirates!
Ah frig...marble madness....that was one of those games on the 'Game Quiz' thread posted earlier but I couldnt remember the name of it...By the way I only got 11, but 11 on the second one too (or 8, cant quite remember, around that mark anyway).
Oh yeah and Bubble Bobble for those who had Amiga 500's. When I was like about 8 me and my 4 yr old nephew finished all 100 levels.
dude it was mentioned in like the 3rd post or something........ DEFINENTLY MARIO KART!!!!! but has to be on the snes **** that was awesome... next chuppa chup challenge yes please!!!
I set the proxy mines down the hallway in the facility...blew up and sent you from one to the other the length of the hallway....good for wiping out someone with full health/armour...that and if you set it on an item and then pick the item up before the mine became active, the item spawned with an invisible proximity mine :p
Ultima Online (& it still kicks the ass of the new MMORPG) with out a question. Would spent many, many hours playing that game, at the expense of sleep. But who needs sleep right, sleep when you are dead. Of course i almost ended up as as lich lord in real since i would go 3 days straight.
Not that i play anymore. But i tried EQ2 for 2 months and it SUCKED. I mean if i wanted to spend 1/2 -3/4 hour trying to form a group with a bunch of pimple popping retards so i could adventure and get some XP to go up a level just to make the whole experience more difficult, I would play WOW. So i guess thats why i say UO is still good, and not either of the prementioned games.

could you make a more uninformed claim? by and large the WoW population is one of the more mature i've seen. and you really have no clue whatsoever about the gameplay if you think it's just one great big level grind.

Its not an uninformed cliam if i have played both games now is it!
Quote from paladin: okay. so it isn't uninformed, it's merely wrong. have a nice day.
Wrong from your point of view, but right in my point of view.
Thanks so much, you know I'm actually having a nice day and they are only going to get better cause im not playing those incrediably poor attempts at a MMORPG. :D
