Most of the Moccona range are nice (Moccona is the only instant coffee I like if I have to drink it - real stuff only here).

Post 5

Yeah, Moccona. Mocha Kenja is my pretend coffee of choice.

Nescafe Gold is sh!t.

Post 8

isn't drinking instant coffee pretty much like ordering a steak well done?

Post 9

or how people think adding milk to instant death coffee before the water will stop one burning the granules...

Post 10

I know this goes beyond "instant coffee", but I do this in order to educate your taste buds (and yes, paladin, that's correct ;-)).

I'll admit, I drink instant coffee (moccona fan here too).. but it's mainly because the perk coffee everyone drinks in the office and at home tastes like weak, diluted piss.

at least my overprocessed, burnt, left-over instant coffee dregs are strong and flavoursome.

the day I find some coffee beans that brew me a thick, rich and black tar-like substance I'll be a happy man.

to be a TRUE coffee barista... one needs a sunbeam em6910. this machine is rated as one of the BEST machines on the market (for home and small business use) - the benefits of this is it has a twin thermo block
1 block heats exactly to 92 degress- and excellent temperature to get your coffee to
other block heats up to 143 degress for your steam or water.
The benefits of this machine is it also tells you whether you are making your coffee at 15 bar or not (which is the ideal bar to drink at)

thats just some knowledge for you fellaz :p

lol sunbeam
If you want the best home espresso coffee machine you'd get a Rancilio Miss Silvia (All Rancilio machines are Miss, they even have a little certificate). Its been the best for around the past 10 years with none that i know of surpassing it even to this day. It is made to last forever and makes the BEST coffee out of any domestic machine, but you have to know how to use it otherwise it makes utter crap coffee. ;P
We have the EM6910 at work and make no less then 6 espresso's a day on it, and I can safely say the coffee does not even come close to my Silvia at home. This is not to say the sunbeam doesn't make good coffee! It can make better coffee than you'd get in most cafes.
Oh and there's no point buying a Silvia (~$900) without buying a grinder of about the same price, which makes for a hefty overall cost. :P

Anyone who spends even 1/4 of that on coffee needs their head examined.

We have a Delonghi Espresso Auto here at work
The thing is magic. Auto time on and heat for the first cup ready when i arrive. Self grinding cleaning and rinsing, auto frother if required and very neat disposal of grinds. The only gripe i have is that i cant put my "Wake the Dead" mix in as all the other bastards use it before i do! I think the dept paid (EDITED FOR THE FORUM NAZIS!) around 1400 for it about 2 years ago, still going strong.

Post 23

lol Sunbeam.

DeLonghi FTW.

Best instant coffee I've found is Nescafe Short Black, it even simulates a decent creamer, or Nescafe Noir.

We have a mobile coffee van at our work from 7-9am and she grinds and makes the coffee fresh on the spot.

Post 24

I am not familiar about "Instant coffee".In our places we make coffee. It is more tasty.Nescafe is nice coffee.

It does make a considerable difference in the resulting flavour (significant enough that it can't be psychosomatic).

Where I'm stuck with Instant, Moccona is always good, most flavours. Moccona Mystique is only really good when you're using two teaspoons of it, the flavour is just too weak otherwise.

What the ****... where the **** did aravi pop from.

It tastes better, but the milk clumps the granules and it pisses me off =p

Post 28

from what I've heard these are very good if you can't afford a good coffee machine
Aerobie? AeroPress(TM) Coffee Maker
Just use your cheep coffee maker for the milk if you like.

put the coffee in the cup.
put a tiny bit of the milk in, and using a circular motion - stirring, if you will - rapidly mix the coffee into the milk. Then add a little more milk, still stirring until your milk is all in the cup. Continue to stir as you add your hot water.

I can't believe you don't know how to make a cup of instant.

Are you okay with Milo big fella? Let me know if you want a hand; I think I have a pdf somewhere.
:p

Post 30

Yeah but see, that's far too much work involved for a cup of coffee =p

Coffee then Hot Water imo =p

Post 31

buy it in a ****en carton from the shops. who the hell drinks hot coffee
