Hey guys I found this filesharing program called Filetopia. It looks very promising.. handles all media types, has the ability to let you either share freely or trade and use ratios.. new version coming out soon which will allow multiple download sources and more. The servers are I think in spain and apprently that means the RIAA can't touch em? Also most/all? communication on the network is encrypted...
I've only been using it 10 mins so I can't say much else... just it feels very fast and very smoooooth.. hehe. Had to mention it. I just hope this can be the next best thing.. maybe...

Use it! There isn't much content around atm there's 700 users, 210,000 files and 1.5 TB online. Chicken and the egg guys.. more content = more ppl = more... anyway.
Prolly goin to end up crap lik every other p2p app but you never know. Worth looking out for at least...

EDIT: It's fairly slow to d/l the program... apparently there's an influx of users from AG.
EDIT #2: Stupid bastards... won't let me d/l nothing.. :evil: farkin pos aint workin right now.. dunno wtf is wrong with it. will try the beta in the morning. 'give it time' I say to myself...

ah true true.. you can set it up for trades as well or make it so only vertain ppl can access your server.
But the thing stinks basically. I haven't been able to download much - not a whole file yet... just remember the words "looks promising" and come back in a few years time.. heh. Maybe once version 3 get's out there it will be better.
hmm.. not sure maybe there's a problem with their servers. It was working okay last night just that I couldn't d/l anything very well. Maybe try again later/tomorrow or something. It's basically like your Fasttrack program - Kazaa, Morpheus, Grokster, etc. but better imo. It just needs some work to polish it off a bit.. meh. dunno.. time will tell. I've only had a small amount of experience with it.
The last time I was using Kazaa it didn't work on my computer either.. just crashed.. I thought it was probably something to do with the spyware crap.. anyway Lite works fine for me.
WinMX works but I don't seem to be able to download much.
Kazaa Lite never heared of it but then again i don't care too much about p2p filesharing :lol: Whats the difference between Kazaa and Kazza Lite anyway?
