atm it it a P4 1.7, 512sd ram, 40gig 7200, gf2mx400 isnt bad but ME for a OS sucks big time and dad wont let me change cause its his computer
i ordered me self a case other day and getting the hardware this week
getting duron 1.3 (i know it sucks but its all i can get ill upgrade later ) and 256ddr and vid card still pending and got me a 40gig 7200 already
it will be my first own computer w00t w00t

yeh not bad.. will be good when you get your own though.
You got the right idea Knight.. nothing wrong with what you're getting. This way you will at least have something that's yours (which is the main aim?) and then secondly it runs and works so that's something and then you can upgrade later to a tbred or a barton when they come out anyway.
I'm running a crusty old 300A at 450 w/ GF2 MX and it does okay. Sure it struggles with the newer games but I don't have money to buy them anyway :) So it's all good. But when my dad upgrades I'll get his 1.4 gig Tbird and that's at lest something to work on. It's KT133A but better than nothing.. stepping stones... and all that. I should be able to just drop in a Barton or at least a Tbred and get an instant increase in power and when I get more $ I can go DDR.
Yeh rainwulf the lift will be good. I just wasn't too sure if I was really going to come along but I think I will now. I could borrow my mums car and drive myself if I had to though. The times are cool and I can get one of me parents to come pick me up if you all turn into vampires at midnight or something.. :P

I have same Kingmax PC150 memory, it's good shit (and runs at 160MHz fine :D ).
