"everyone does it" is no defense in a court of law. GU cannot take the risk of appearing to condone any kind of illegal activity. Do you know how incredibly massive the fine is for knowingly permitting or enabling piracy of copyrighted material is? In the order of US" million - per offense.
Seriously people, don't talk about that sort of thing on the boards. GU can't be having with that kind of thing. Keep it to PM's, ICQ, etc.

its illegal - ie. you can be arrested for doing it. GU could (theoretically) be shut down if it looks like we condone the practice, hence the fact that we don't and we say that very very loudly.
there are two phrases I suggest you take to heart Nih,

i thought the laws in aust are different from those in america. ive heard that a law allowing the recording of videos and giving to friends can cover rips and stuff. And technically something so new that it hasnt been licensed in aust isnt illegal to distrubute as well. I think the main issue with all that copyrighting stuff is about ppl reselling copyrighted stuff...

no really, this movie was scary....the hair on my arms/neck/head all stood up when watching this movie......scariest movie I have watched since IT...and I only watched that once..same deal with this one :cry:
Saw it last night, excelent movie. The suspence build up in certain sections is excelent. Still... being the person I am I was left at the end thinking... "How did she come out of the TV?"
One other thing, wasn't that Well she got dumped in on her farm on that island? I ask because the well the chick (milf) falls in is ages away...

Many places often had wells or artesian hot springs under them for other reasons too, take the Roman city of Bath in England for example.
yeah! that movie was hella creepy, me and minorci and mordin went to the preview of it at cmax... i tell ya, if the bar with the microphone on it showed up any more in that movie, it'd be knocking the actors out! cracked me up tho!
-still wish they'd refunded some money for screwing an otherwise good movie tho...
Well, sardok, minorci and myself went to see "The ring" and i almost died laughing. Throughout the most of the movie the huge boom arm was visible above the actors, and i can tell you, a movie that is trying to be scary just isnt with a bloody great mic waving around, taking up the top half of the picture. :? If you want proof, ask Sardok or Minorci.
