Well Well Well Things are going good, as the title says yes I'm making a CS movie, I have a few people helping me out atm (crazy and coco) so the video side of things is fine.
If your wondering, it will mainly be of me (for a couple of reasons) 1. I can only record myself (Unless im dead) 2. I have no HLTV to record you guys constantly. If there is HLTV running at DGA17, watch out 8)
I'm aiming for 10min of video footage (probably 8-9 of acctual CS) Looking for a file size of about 150Mb, so many of you wont be able to download it or wont want to but I'll get to that later.
OK a little update, I have already started to make the short clips for the movie which in the end will be put togethetr to form the final piece. I'm going to take Crazy's advice in that I should wait and create the sound around the movie, but your input to songs cant hurt and is all the more useful to me. :D
I haevn't done many cips as of yet, Ive been playing around with different FPS setings and trying to get a good "normal speed" shot and a "slow-mo" speed and will decide which suits that moment of time for the movie. And yes that sounds similar to the article written by Noetix, on the Pantheon website and Im using his write up as a guide.
1. Linkin Park - In the End (Slow start to the song but picks up tempo.) 2. Pantera - Cemetary gates - (Same but a mixture of slow and heavy throughout song) 3. Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone (Hardcore the whole way through)
Angel, If you can try and create the movie so that during the slow bits at the start of Linkin Park, you are getting owned. Then we the tempo speeds up, you can start owing. I think this would be really effective. And Pantera are just hardcore and rock and will go well with any occasion :)
BTW. Am I in it. I can be the one owning you as usual at the start :) I don't think you would have any recordings of you killing me thought :p

BAH, sheesh :D nice Idea i had something similar but a little different.
Was thinking, starting off with some simple but good HS and maybe tactical plays, then building my way up to you know the shit everyone hates me doing 4-5 killing sprees, etc.
But keep it coming, IDEAS, i need em =)

OH gobbles or anyone, if you have a recording of yourself doing something really insane or a bloody flukey HS, etc send it to me, and i'll see what i can do =) More people other than just me will make it a little more entertaining. I prefrably want stuff from DGA or GU though. If it's in a war thats ok too.
HAHA no not yet gobbles, off the top of my head I have 3 beautiful HS, against (Bizzar, Frenzy and DOM) I have more just havent gotten that far yet.

I've got a demo of EVO1 final S vs DNC. I know I pull off some good stuff like a mid air HS against flamm and a double kill with a USP. I'm sure the other players pull off good stuff too.

Or if your gonna have it start slow then biuld up to heaps of action then you could try joining Parabol and Parabola by Tool together. Worked well on a CGI CS movie done ages ago :)
Blah...Bit hard to put up music then add to video. Far better off doing movie then adding sound according to the moment.... As an example a little 2min vid i made up had no sound until i viewed it several times I couldnt think of what music it needed. Bit of resampling and it ended up with a few classics that fitted the moment. Entire T team rush in unison to the bomb site with no offence encountered. the way they were running and how they grouped was befitting to a classic Steppenwolf song. The main intro..So basically reserve your choice of audio till after the video is made...

I had many of their songs on MP3 but decided to go out and buy it :)
I like pretty much all their songs but i never got The Sickness cos when i went to get it the girl from Sanity said the it came out but was removed from shelves within months of being released :( But then i have most of the songs from The Sickness as MP3 anyway :)
