well today kngith of nih has to go to school :(
he dosnt wanna he likes the holidays goignt to bed at 8 ish and waking up at 2-4pm :P

but its all gonna change for a while cause he has to go to school at 8:30 today
i woke up at 4 cause i was boared of sleep :P
couldnt go back to sleep so played so cs
kicked a tker u know the usual :P

but anyway

Make sure you take a class on spelling and english and grammar ....

going to the school knight goes to, spelling classes dont matter much, he wont learn anything anywho with the teachers there :P

Yeah I finished school last year, going into Uni this year, I have a friend (best freind) sparky, going to Adelaide for Uni, he'll be leaving in a couple of weeks. Things are changing fast, although I don't think im going to pmiss school again, what i will miss is that ease of being able to see your freinds everyday.

school sux arse..and we tell the grade 12's what to do..they don't tell us...we're bigger then them and we're two years younger...so sad.... :idea:

Something like that huh guys, I wish I was still in primary school. Love the 1:30 hrs of "little and big lunch" a day, 1-10 times tables...geez, the hard life.

I reckon high school was cool. All through years 7-10 we had no worries at all (apart from the tests which were easy). Only thing i hated was that they forced us to do art and drama for year 7 and 8 :evil:

But it was pretty much, go to school learn a bit ahve morning tea go learn a bit more then lunch then learn a bit more. Bloody easy especially metal work, wood work and graphics classes. Guess the reason i liked it so much was cos our Geography teacher was a stoner, grapics and metal work teacher was slow, so everyone got away with anything, and our science teacher let us do cool stuff :D

7-10 were so cool, if something wasn't bolted down then well...even if it was.... :? Gary was so funny, but hardly anyone knew that he was practically rich. Probably cos he always drove his gemini to school cos it didnt matter if the kids smashed it.

One day he actually brought his hiace with a harley in the back :)

Funny thing was he had 10-15 different Cadillac's (a couple of stretch cadi's), the harley a few gemini's, hiace, and a plane. Not to mention his farm with enough room for him to land his plane on. Yet he was still teaching highschool kids :roll:

i went to electronics class today the teacher is a lost bloke hy

his room was full of computer shit liek Hdds all over the bench and a stack of new powersuplys and 6 new athelons and shit liek that
bay bus things and shit so me and timmy gotta find shorts with big pockets

yeah schools alright but holidays are better :D went back to school today and lost my time table first lesson think a mate stole it anyway had to walk around asking people what they had and then went to the offic and they gave me the wronge classes :evil: oh well dotn think me going school for a few days anyway, blew up again alergies are back and bader then befor :cry:

I'm sorry, but I hated my high school time until year 12 where it got a lot better. When I was in year 10, I promised myself that when I have ten million dollars I was going to buy Darwin High School and have every building burnt to the ground. That said, it's the best school in Darwin IMHO, and I'm glad I went instead of any other school, but the fact is no matter where I went the experience would have still been aweful, even more then it was. I'm so glad it's over, and I'm now in Uni. So extremely very very glad. I honestly couldn't have standed another month in that hell hole, but again, without the support of Darwin High teachers I wouldn't have lasted the stretch.

But no matter how horrible it was, University is the promised land. I'm so freaking happy and content here, it's unbelievable. So, I have this message for people in High School:

"The harder the rains come, the brighter the rainbow at the end shall be."

If you find it in your soul, enjoy high school to it's fullest. Otherwise, just put up with it like myself and millions of other people have and get ready to move onto something abso-freaking-lutely awesome. It *WILL* be over soon, and it *WILL* be worth it. Years 9 -> 11 are the hardest years, IMHO, with year 12 being the best year trailed by year 8 as a far distant second.

Highschool for me was the long, dull, crappy prelude to Sydney University. Usyd was my New Jerusalem: beer, bumming, and babes who thought I was sexy because I was smart.

Get out of highschool and into a top-flight uni just as fast as you can, that's my advice. Stay up late talking politics or philosophy or films or whatever. Seduce smart, attractive women. Write for the student paper (this works well on your set-up for the last item). Join clubs. Go to pissups. Get involved in student drama, any way you can, because it's the best way to meet the campus glam and get invites to the best f*cking parties.

I should shut up. I'm depressing myself.

Just posting to say that you guys would be at school now while i am relaxing at home /me relaxes :P

I only went to school to eat theother blokes lunch .....

The school allowed me to finish 3rd year HS so long as I didnt come back next year ....

I was out and working at 14 ... now look at me !!!

Seriously kiddies these days you need an education so no matter how much you hate it or think it sux be good and study hard ...

The DOLE and being out of work aint all its cracked up to be ... not if you want to get ahead in life ... like buy flash cars and computers and the like

Will any other uni bums be doing the common units this coming semester? I am enrolled in Academic Literacy’s and I know a few of you guys are starting uni this year.

has anyone gone to school down south then come up here to study? thats what i did and school up here is just bulshit IMHO. i went to sanderson, thank god only for a year! school down south, granted the work is harder and in the end, studying is more important to get into any uni, but its just so much better. not just some, but all the teachers care about their students and the ones who dont, dont last a year. the learning environment down south is so much better.....IMHO....

personally I prefer CSC to darwin high..I think you'd understand one reason why, Wolfspirit (lack of a few certain people) but the majority of teachers at CSC are great..

I also managed to beat my record today, second day of school and I fell asleep in math :P

ha dont goto the komilda that school is roaly fucked look at me i went there :P

indo sucked the teacher didnt want me mucking up in his class so he said you can sleep in my class you can not do the work in the class but dont muck up in my class so i agreeded and went to sleep

lol, i did 4u maths :), maths every day, slept so much during it the teachers though i had some sleeping disorder.

School rocked, i had heaps of fun. Its a shame i was accelerated through it :(

now i have to work to save up money to pay for boarding at uni :( - ah well should be fun once im there

why sleep in class? it takes away all the fun.... put crushed up soap flakes in the girl in fron of you's hair, chalk in the dusters, fake names for the sub teacher, attacking your friends pencil case with hearts and the names of every guys in the math class. purpously getting detention because your friend has. breaking the record for number of yard duties in a week....

hmm....no wonder i suck at maths and science.... 4 years of screwing around.... aah but it was fun! washing off 4 blackboards of writing was the best, detention for a week for that one. it was worth it though!
